Afaik, the important thing to remember about ping or latency is the location of the server Malaysians need to connect to during their online activity, especially in online gaming, not whether their Internet is Fiber, 5G or 4G LTE.
....... No doubt, by itself, Fiber > 5G > 4G LTE wrt ping, ie wired Fiber Internet is faster than wireless/mobile 5G/4G Internet.

Eg those Malaysians who play online Made-in-China games will always get high ping of >100ms whether on Fiber, 5G or 4G LTE, because the game servers are located faraway in China. IOW, it takes much longer for data packets from China to reach Malaysia.
....... If the online game server is located in Singapore, then Malaysians will always get low ping of about 50ms for Fiber, 5G or 4G LTE Internet.

Ping lower then 50 is ok. Worse TM route you 19hops. HK and China ping about 48. I game better with LTE then my fiber line. Maxis LTE. Second thing is the server. Most of the time Singapore server is worse then HK.

5G modem is really hot. You need to fan them if not line drop or fried.

How is this compared to Fiber Broadband? I'm on Time 100mbps and thinking if I should jump over.

In my home, Maxis 5G signal on my phone seems to be consistently at >300mbps whenever I run a speedtest.

Then use 5g modem but put extra fan on the modem.
