its up to your choice...
one is 20k , one is 30k (approx)

think of the following

- riding position (for long distance if you plan to ride long distance)
- top speed
- fuel consumption

dont worry about spare parts and after sales service, kawasaki malaysia is AAAAAAAAA+++++ in service

its RM24K and RM34K here in sarawak...
mainly for short distance.. fuel and top speed is not an issue, but sometime i do need to speed.. (the point of getting a sportbike)

Bro's i wanna whether all superbikes have clutch . I'm starting college i might wanna get a superbike around 5 - 6k for daily use . I have my P driving license but now i'm hoping to get myself a superbike to attend college. Around 150 - 250 will do . I dont know how to ride a bike even i cant handle my friend's yamaha 125zxr because i'm too thin and can't even hold a bike properly . Where can i get proper training of riding a bike? I'm worried i cant handle a superbike . Taikor's here please guide me . If i just listen undang means L license can i drive a superbike around??

bro i think superbike is 600c and above....(yeah all got clutch and gear except for scooter la) -yup got 500cc scooter!

what you mean is 150cc (like CBR150) and 250cc (like NINja 250r)
sure got clutch and gear...

go to the driving school and register, they will teach you how to ride..

if you got "L" b full license (go to class only)- you can ride bike with any cc (means what ever bike also can), but cannot have pillion
renew 3 month, or 6 months

if you take license up to B2 (must take test)- you can ride only up to 250cc (can have pillion)
renew once a year

Added on March 19, 2009, 11:27 amor take B full license.. renew also once a year
(unlimited cc) but harder to pass la

=============

prices to consider:
cbr150 - about RM9,0000
ninja 250 - about RM20,000
yamaha FZ150 - about RM7,500

i would recommend the yamaha fz150
its cheaper.. and got fuel injection.. (save fuel) but top speed = 140km only
good for everyday ride

and its quite new in malaysia road

Added on March 19, 2009, 11:31 amand it got clutch and gear also...

to get L license, i think u have to listen to ceramah + ride about 3 hours. If you got u P license already, that means that u have already had a proper riding training except ur license is 'lesen terbang' one..

if not mistaken, 'superbike' only apply to motorcycle with 500cc and above engine.

All 150cc and above have clutch. Its quite easy to master clutch. only a few times can use it already.

Try to take smaller bike first. Cubchai 1st. Learn to ride properly. then after u gain ur confident, u can move to bigger cc like 150 or 250.

try to ride a bicycle first.. and then starts with small bike, dont simply jump to the big bike. if u cant ride 125z properly, im very sure that u cant handle the power of any sportsbike, what more a superbike wink.gif

i would suggest u go to track..

reason:

1. KL highways are always packed with cars. There's a lot some stupid drivers, drive slowly on right lane.
But u still can sprint during nite time/early morning(2 or 3 am) but, night time, ur vision is limited -> more dangerous.

2. KL highways are well known 4 bump and jalan tak rata + lubang here and there. this one is super dangerous too..

so, take ur bike to track..u'll enjoy every second of it..
