baru vrommm!

about RM56,000 - RM60,000 on the road (2009 model) for 2008 model a bit cheaper but quite hard to get now...
have to survey many shops to get best price....

in malaysia superbike is consider luxury item, so the tax is higher (also because malaysia is developing country)
the z750 in UK is only 5000 pounds, thats about RM27,000

what to do... must work hard to get what we want...
for me good also la, if else all the mat rempit can ride R1, cbr1000 hahaha habis la jalan...


tax for bike is high.. very high...

my 1st choice was the kawasaki ER6N 650cc

locally assembled so cheaper la ...low tax ...about RM32,000 otr for 2009 model
but its 2 silinder, so no vromm vromm sound..
but super good for beginner...highly recommended.. you pay like RM11,000 downpayment and
monthly about RM350 for 5 years i think...fuel consumption also good...
but must waiting long time, about 3 months to get...

im upgrading after 250cc-400cc now 750cc hopefully la

ya italian bike is superb
but the maintainence cost is high in malaysia..compare to japanese bike
(spare parts etc)

logically
if its legal for malaysian to buy/own and use spore bike on the road here..
all the kedai motor close down la, no one would buy superbike in malaysia

think about it..
everyone can buy cbr600, cbr1000 , R1 etc.. from spore and use here...
you can take bus to singapore, buy a few years old yamaha R1 for RM12,000 and ride home...
tutup la welly, naza bikers, etc....

(memang boleh pakai, tapi risky...)
pls also consider the following
- cannot buy 1st party insurance for malaysian use. only 3rd.. if hilang or accident.. how?
- limited time use on road (have to renew the COE) search google for this
- insurance bla bla bla all in Sing$ ...u want to pay RM7000 one year for insurance??
and a lot more things to consider...

but if you work/study in spore, buy the bike, and balik kampung with the bike.. then its legal
but must present Spore driving license to the JPJ/polis malaysia if kena tahan laa

too high for me
the pick up quite good
didnt like the sound

yes im from skatemalaysia
currently riding CBR 400 ...
quite rare in Malaysia.. but many in spore...
(yes its cbr400 and not cb400)

planning to upgrade soon to kawasaki er6n (650cc)
or kawasaki z750 laaa... but not enough money yet...

can pay for er6n but still thinking about it...

malaysian prices are too ridiculous and its going up soon!!!

a good bike to start now is the cbr 150, yamaha fz150 or ninja 250r
