▫️The goal of the attack has been reached. All the assigned targets have been neutralised.

▫️In Kupyansk direction, as a result of strikes by Army Aviation and artillery, as well as courageous actions by units of the Zapad Group of Forces, 6 enemy attacks and counterattacks have been successfully repelled close to Novosyolovskoye (Lugansk People's Republic), Pershotravnyovoye, Sinkovka and Mankovka tracts (Kharkov region).

Russia reportedly attacked Ukraine's port city of Odesa yet again with drones and missiles. Moscow officials said that three waves of air attacks were launched on the port city. An ex-advisor to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has slammed Ukraine's effort to 'dehumanize' Russians. Aleksey Arestovich called Ukraine's 'dehumanizing' effort a mistake in the war. Arestovich stated that the strategy has given Russian troops more reasons to fight. The comments come as Russian troops continue to dominate the Ukrainian Army.


India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) made their first-ever historic crude oil payment in local currency. The transactions were made in Indian Rupees and UAE Dirhams for about 1 million barrels of crude oil between Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL). The oil transactions were made under the newly implemented Local Currency Settlement (LCS) system.

Destruction of BMP Marder and BTR Stryker in the Orekhovsky area

This morning, the Zaporozhye Front posted footage of the work of the operators of the Lancet loitering shells on enemy armored vehicles. Judging by the characteristic machine-gun turret, the Stryker armored personnel carrier was destroyed by the drone.

This is the first recorded defeat of the American armored personnel carriers at the front after their transfer to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to some reports, the Strykers were supplied to the 82nd Air Assault Brigade of the Airborne Forces of Ukraine.

The 82nd Airborne Brigade itself is part of the so-called Maroon tactical group, which also includes the 46th airmobile and 71st Jaeger brigades, as well as 132nd reconnaissance battalions. Next in line is the first M1A2 Abrams tank destroyed or captured in Ukraine. Delivery expected in fall this year.


Russian news agency Ria Novosti has shared a video of a tank standing undefeated on the battlefield. The Russian tank was reportedly bombed by Ukrainian NLAW grenade launcher, but despite the direct hit it continued to fire at Ukrainian troops. The incident reportedly took place near Avdiivka.


Russian forces released dramatic Black Sea raid visuals from August 13 when a ship heading to Ukrainian port of Izmail was intercepted by Moscow's Navy. The Russian Ministry of Defense separately also released footage of an attack on Ukrainian positions and weapons in Western Military District.


President Volodymyr Zelensky has criticized Ukrainians for partying amid the ongoing Russian war. The Ukrainian President slammed people enjoying in bars or clubs. Zelensky said that defeating Russia in the war is a 'common national cause. The comments come after Zelensky visited several military units on the frontline.
