MOSCOW, September 24. /TASS/. Ka-52 and Mi-28 helicopters of Russia’s Southern Military District have taken out some Ukrainian troops in the Zaporozhye area, the Russian Defense Ministry told TASS.
"Reconnaissance revealed a buildup and transfer of additional enemy personnel in one of the wooded areas, up to 30 people. The task was set to destroy the identified target with unguided [aerial] missiles. From time to time, along with personnel, we also hit lightly armored vehicles, pickup trucks <…> and infantry fighting vehicles," a military pilot, identified by his call name Spartak, said in a video obtained by TASS.
The ministry said that, as part of the special military operation, the Southern Military District’s aircraft continue to carry out missions to destroy the enemy’s personnel and armored vehicles, disrupting unsuccessful Ukrainian attempts to attack Russian positions in the Zaporozhye area.
During combat sorties, strike and reconnaissance-cum-strike helicopters launch missiles at Ukrainian fortified strongpoints and armored fighting vehicles. Pilots approach the combat area at extremely low altitudes and skirt the terrain, which allows the aircraft to avoid detection by the enemy's air defenses, the ministry said.
MOSCOW, September 24. /TASS/. Aircraft from the battlegroup South has struck 23 Ukrainian-controlled areas in the Donetsk area, destroying three ammunition depots and a drone control post, among other targets, Georgy Minesashvili, a spokesman for the battlegroup, told TASS.
"The group's aircraft struck personnel and military equipment in 23 areas. The enemy’s total losses were more than a company of personnel, two pickup trucks and one unmanned aerial vehicle.

"On the night of September 25, an attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out terrorist attacks using aircraft-type UAVs against objects on the territory of the Russian Federation was stopped. Air defense systems destroyed four unmanned aerial vehicles over the northwestern part of the Black Sea and over the territory of the Republic of Crimea," the ministry said.

MOSCOW, September 25. /TASS/. A Russian force repelled an attack by a superior Ukrainian force near Uruzhainoye in the south Donetsk direction, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

"Crews manning Su-34 multipurpose fighter bombers of the Central Military District delivered guided bomb strikes on command outposts and drone control centers, as well as Ukrainian armored combat vehicles, in the Krasny Liman direction in the course of the special military operation. To destroy the targets, the pilots used high-precision guided weapons, which destroyed enemy constructions and equipment from a large height," the Russian defense agency said.
According to the ministry, Su-34 crews are on combat duty round the clock as they carry out air patrol and cover missions for Russian ground force battlegroups from the air.
"Two aircraft performed a combat patrol flight to eliminate concentrations of enemy manpower as well as vehicles and tanks, hitting all targets <…>. Our aviation, both fighter jets and fighter bombers, is ready to confront F-16s," a unit commander who goes by the call sign Solist said.
A maintenance unit head with the call sign Bars said that their unit always repairs aircraft promptly "so they can continue performing combat missions."
The Russian Aerospace Forces are actively deploying the Su-34, a two-seater, all-weather frontline bomber, in the special op zone.

"The situation over the past two days has improved a little bit in the area that is important to us, because it is adjacent to the Ugledar area. I am referring to the Rabotino-Verbovoye section of the frontline."
"North of Verbovoye and also in the southwest direction from Rabotino, the Russian forces have managed to increase the gray zone by about 200 meters as a result of counterattack operations," he said on the Rossiya-24 TV channel.

Battle of Avdiivka: situation by the end of September 25, 2023
🔻 More than two months have passed since the last update of the situation in Avdiivka, and the situation in this area has not changed radically. Either our or Ukrainian units are attacking positions, trying to improve the tactical position.
Over the past few weeks, enemy formations, reinforced by detachments of marines, have tried to break through to Vodiane and Opytny. At some point, they managed to advance, but after a massive artillery strike and the subsequent counterattack of the 1st Slavic Brigade, everything returned to its original level.
🔻 At the same time, the fighters of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation also carried out several attacks in other directions. Operating from the vicinity of Opytne, the servicemen of the Russian Army advanced towards the residential complex "446 km" and entrenched themselves on new frontiers.
