NATO Split Over Ukraine? After Poland, Turkey 'Stops' Military Assistance To Kyiv Amid Russia War
Unconfirmed reports claim that Turkey has stopped all military assistance to Ukraine in its fightback against Russia. The rumoured development comes after Turkish President Erdogan’s recent meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in Sochi. Earlier, another NATO nation Poland announced that it will no longer arm Ukraine with any new weapons. 👍 Putin's Tanks Crush Ukrainian Positions In Donetsk; Russia 'Wipes Out' Over 600 Troops | Watch The Russian forces crushed Ukraine's counterattacks in the Donetsk region with T-80 tanks. The Russian defence ministry said that over 600 Ukrainian troops were wiped out in the past day as 11 of their counterattacks failed. In a series of videos, Russian forces can be seen obliterating Ukrainian Gvozdika artillery system with loitering munition, destroying strongholds with mortars and creating huge smoke balls with attacks from the T-80 tanks. Russia Conflict: India Questions UN, Echoes PM Modi's 'Not An Era Of War' Remarks At UN India questioned the 'inability' of the UNSC in finding a solution to the ongoing Russian-Ukraine war. India called for fixing the "systemic flaw" within the UN to maintain its "credibility". The Indian representative, MEA Secretary Sanjay Verma, Secretary, expressed concern over the situation in Ukraine. Zelensky's Big Warning To U.S. As Russia's Winter War Approaches; 'Ukraine Will Lose If...' | Watch Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has admitted that Kyiv will lose the war against Russia's invasion if the U.S. stops sending military assistance. Zelensky's admission and warning came after he met U.S. lawmakers during his visit to Washington. However, the Republican speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives still did not commit anything to Zelensky or President Joe Biden. 🤣 The corrupt nefarious Bandera regime is going down soon... |

![]() Kherson direction: transfer of marines to Mykolaiv and Kherson Situation as of 12.00 on September 22, 2023 🔻 In the island zone of the Dnieper, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to try to gain a foothold on the existing bridgehead. Russian troops are shelling the areas of concentration of the enemy's sabotage and reconnaissance groups, however, despite the losses, the transfer of units does not stop. ▪️Last night, artillery of the Russian Armed Forces hit an observation post and an ammunition depot of the 131st reconnaissance battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Kozatsky Island, as a result of which three people were killed and four more were injured. A boat was sent to evacuate people from Mykolaivka, which was destroyed by accurate fire. However, in the morning, the command of the tactical group "Omaha" again deployed the DRG on the island. 🔻 Also, the command of the tactical formation "Grom" conducted a rotation of advanced groups on Alekseevsky Island. Five people from Sadovyi were transferred there. In addition, Russian troops destroyed a boat with personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Kizomys. ❗️ However, the activity of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the direction may increase in the near future. Since September 15, marines have been transferred from the Dnipropetrovsk region through Kryvyi Rih to Nikolaev and Kherson. During this time, 197 units of equipment passed through Dnepropetrovsk, including BTR-70 and BTR-80, as well as armored combat vehicles "Humvee", "Kozak", "Kirpi", "Mastiff". In total, about 5100 people arrived in this zone, which is actually the number of one brigade. Given the sharp decline in activity in the Vremyevsky sector, it is likely that one of the formations that participated in the battles near Novodonetsk is being transported. And their appearance near Kherson indicates a possible operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Dnieper. This post has been edited by Catnip: Sep 22 2023, 09:33 PM |

![]() Another attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Crimea A couple of hours ago, Ukrainian formations again tried to strike at military facilities in Crimea. First, at around 10.20 a.m., a Neptune anti-ship missile was fired from the Odessa region, which was shot down by units of the 31st Air Force and Air Defense Division over Belbek. Then the calculation of MANPADS at the Kacha airfield knocked out UAVs of an unknown type. And just 10 minutes later, the Tekever AR300 UAV, which arrived from the Kherson region, near Cape Tarkhankut, was destroyed from the S-3 air defense system. 🔻 Two hours later, the attack resumed: four Su-24M bombers launched at least seven Storm Shadow cruise missiles. Two of them were shot down over Steregushchy, and several more on approach to Sevastopol. At least one Storm Shadow flew to the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet. There is currently no data on casualties and deaths. And now the danger of repeated missile strikes remains. Strike on Sevastopol delivered with Storm Shadow missiles — TV According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, five missiles were shot down by the air defense system LONDON, September 22. /TASS/. Ukrainian troops used longer-range Storm Shadow missiles to delivers a strike on the Russian Black Sea Fleet headquarters in Sevastopol, the Sky News television channel reported on Friday, citing an unnamed officer of the Ukrainian Air Force. Ukrainian troops delivered a missile strike on the Black Sea Fleet headquarters in Sevastopol. As a result of the strike, the shock wave broke windows in ten houses. There were no casualties among civilians. One serviceman is missing. According to the Russian defense ministry, five missiles were shot down by the air defense system. In May, the UK Ministry of Defense officially confirmed that it was providing Ukraine with Storm Shadow missiles with a range of about 250 kilometers. The Russian embassy in London slammed this move saying that supplies of longer-range weapons to the Kiev regime indicated London’s involvement in the conflict in Ukraine. |

![]() Zaporizhzhia direction: situation as of 17.00 on September 22, 2023 🔻The main battles of recent weeks have been going on in the area of Verbovoye south of Orekhov. Units of the 82nd Airborne Brigade and the 71st EBR are trying to storm the first line of defense of the RF Armed Forces to break through to Tokmak, but to no avail. ▪️Western sources, including The Wall Street Journal, write that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have finally achieved significant success by breaking through the "Surovikin Line" west of Verbovoye. But in fact, the clashes here have been going on for more than a month, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine have no visible success. ▪️Attempts to gain a foothold in the village end in the same way: artillery shelling of the RF Armed Forces and the subsequent retreat of the enemy to the original ones. The forces of the 71st Jaeger Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which recently entered the battle, have already suffered significant losses, and the number of refuseniks is growing every day. ▪️Similarly, the assault on Hill 136.7 northeast of Novopokropovka is unsuccessful. Yes, there is a slight advance, but the price for a couple of tens of meters is huge. Another convoy of military equipment passed through Dnepropetrovsk to make up for losses. 🔻 Now Orekhov has special forces of the MTR of Ukraine on several armored fighting vehicles, including three command and staff vehicles. Special forces units are checking communications and, quite likely, will launch a new attack in the coming days. In addition, the intensity of the work of TOPAZ military satellites, which survey settlements east and southeast of Polohy, has increased in the Gulyaipole area. Such activity testifies to the collection of data on the position of the RF Armed Forces before a possible resumption of hostilities. |

![]() The defeat of Leopard 2S tanks near Svatovo Today, a video of the defeat of two Leopard 2S (Strv.122B) tanks transferred to Ukrainian formations from Sweden appeared on the Web. The armored vehicles belonged to the new 44 mechanized brigade, which is equipped with Polish-made BMP-1s and previously operated in the area near Kreminna. According to the video, both vehicles were abandoned by the crew south of the village of Stelmakhivka. Apparently, the equipment was blown up by mines, after which the Russian servicemen decided to finish it off with Lancets. Coordinates: This is the first objective evidence of the use of "Leopards" in the Svatovsky area: previously, tanks of this type "glowed" only in the Zaporozhye direction. Also, this is the first documented defeat of this modification of the Leopards - in total, the Swedes sent 10 vehicles of this type to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Apparently, the Leopards aren't really gamechangers as some propagandist claim to be? 2 down 8 to go... |

![]() Complex missile attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Crimea Let's summarize today's attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Crimea, during which they used either drones or missile weapons. First, a Neptune anti-ship missile was fired from the vicinity of Tuzla, shot down along with two UAVs in the west of the peninsula. And then four Ukrainian Su-24M bombers from the Starokonstantinov airbase launched seven Storm Shadow cruise missiles: five of them were fired from the Voznesensk area, and two more from the Black Sea near Ochakov from a height of up to 50 meters above the water. 🔻 Units of the 31st Air Force and Air Defense Division shot down four missiles: one over Vnukovo, another on approach to Gvardeysky, the third over the Bakhchisaray district, and the fourth near Nakhimov Square in Sevastopol (fragments fell near the Lunacharsky Theater). Three missiles could not be intercepted, and they hit the building of the General Staff of the Black Sea Fleet one after another. At the time of the hit, there was no one in the corps except for the duty service. And the information about the death of the commander of the Black Sea Fleet, dispersed by the Ukrainian media, does not correspond to reality. ❗️ The attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Crimea are becoming more intense and combined - drones, anti-ship systems, and cruise missiles are used, which complicates the work of air defense systems. Even now, drones are being recorded in the skies over Crimea. And this became possible due to the absence of any at least equivalent reaction to what is happening on the part of the Russian command. Strikes on fuel storage facilities and oil depots are, of course, not bad, but they will not give the desired effect and result. Until there are strikes on command and control bodies and command posts, the intensity of attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine will increase. Meanwhile, in Kiev, the work of all Ukrainian structures responsible for regular raids, such as the Main Intelligence Directorate and the Security Service of Ukraine, is proceeding without interruption. |

![]() How much money did Western countries give to Ukraine? Against the backdrop of news about a possible reduction in military assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine due to a grain dispute with Poland and due to disputes over the national debt in the United States, we decided to calculate how much money has already been spent on helping Ukraine? ❗️ The total amount of military, humanitarian and financial assistance from February 2022 to September 2023 amounted to 322.8 billion US dollars. The top three donor countries of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are expected to be the United States (106,8 billion), Germany (23,1 billion) and Great Britain (15,2 billion). The figures shown in the infographic do not take into account the cost of refugees, so the total amount will be significantly higher. For comparison, in 2022, Ukraine's defense budget, according to the Ministry of Finance, amounted to $42.9 billion (59% of total budget expenditures). And in 2023 - $45.4 billion (55% of the budget). 📌 We are confident that our foreign colleagues will also be interested in these calculations, especially in the context of regular debates on the real size of military aid and the growing tax burden on the population. In this regard, we discovered with curiosity that some congressmen in the United States not so long ago proposed to reduce the Pentagon budget by just $ 100 billion, justifying this by the need to increase spending on social services, and without mentioning Ukraine. According to U.S. officials, $100 billion could provide solar power to every household in the U.S., hire a million elementary school teachers in the face of a growing shortage of educators, provide free tuition for two out of three public college students, or pay for health care for seven million veterans. 🔻 It is also important that the blocked reserves of the Central Bank of Russia in the amount of about $ 300 billion will almost completely cover everything that was spent by Western countries. Therefore, taking into account the above figures, the likelihood that Russian gold reserves, "wisely" placed by the leadership of the Central Bank in Western banks, zero will return to Russia. So much given for so little in return... Wouldn't be surprised if 70% goes into the pockets of the corrupt nefarious Bandera regime. kiasunkiasi liked this post

Ukraine to cost half-trillion more if war ends now
Ukraine war will end up being the most costly and perhaps corrupt foreign operation ever carried out by the United States ![]() A devastated power facility that will need costly repairs in Ukraine. Image: Twitter If the Ukraine war ended tomorrow, the United States still would need to send hundreds of billions in aid to that country. The bill includes continuation of military assistance, budget support for the Ukrainian government and reconstruction assistance. President Biden has just asked for another US$24 billion to support Ukraine, primarily for military equipment but also budget support ($7.3 billion). While Congress is increasingly skeptical about another huge chunk of money to fund an endless conflict, this is peanuts compared with what will be asked after the war ends. The World Bank has done a revised estimate on reconstruction needs, based on data from the first year of the war (February 2022 to February 2023). The Bank says that Ukraine needs $411 billion for reconstruction over a ten-year period. That estimate will need to be significantly increased to account for February to August 2023 and beyond. It would make sense to think that even if the war stopped tomorrow, reconstruction aid would come to $600 billion or more, or more than half a trillion dollars. For purposes of comparison, the war in Iraq featured a reconstruction program of $60 billion. The US also spent $90 billion over twelve years to support Afghanistan (although the war continued in that country.) There is no doubt that most of the US assistance to Afghanistan was probably stolen or went over to the Taliban. On top of that, billions’ worth of US war-fighting equipment was left in place and is now used by the Taliban. In the case of Iraq, most of the aid was wasted thanks to bad management, corruption and poor planning. The US and its allies will need to cough up $60 billion annually to support Ukraine, and expect that a lot of it will be stolen. It will have to keep the funding up for 10 years. Consider that Germany has committed to support Ukraine “for as long as it takes” at $5 billion annually. But the German government in power is likely to be replaced soon, and that pledge is about as worthless as the Weimar mark. Likewise, the UK economy is very dodgy, and finding serious money in future will prove a real challenge. The bottom line is that most of the money will have to come from Uncle Sam. It may be that some Washington insiders are thinking that the best thing is to prolong the war as long as possible, because if the fighting continues the US just needs to provide military assistance and budget support for the government, but not reconstruction assistance. In effect, that is the Biden administration policy. By continuing the war the Biden government thinks it can convince Congress to keep paying and they can keep Ukraine “alive” by forking over arms and money to pay salaries and for needed supplies. But will Congress be willing to keep spending for an endless war? It is likely Congress will want to know where the money is going, how it is used, and how the US government accounts for its spending. Most Americans oppose more aid to Ukraine. We are entering an election period with the first Republican presidential debates coming soon. Ukraine is sure to be an issue and some candidates, like Robert Kennedy Jr, who identifies for the time being as a Democrat, already are speaking out against supporting the war. This could mean Biden will have a huge problem trying to get a skittish Congress, including his fellow Democrats, to sign up for more spending on a losing proposition. It has long been understood that Ukraine is a corrupt country. Ukrainian politicians, including Zelensky, have offshored some of their wealth (Zelensky has a villa in Tuscany on the seashore in Forte dei Marmi which he bought before he entered politics and now rents to Russian clients at 12,000 euros a month). President Biden’s son Hunter is embroiled in an investigation of payments and other activities centered partly on Ukraine’s Burisma energy holding company and in part on transactions in China. A Republican-dominated committee in the House of Representatives has sought to tie the president to the matters under investigation. When the “big” reconstruction money starts flowing, assuming that happens, political and military officials in Ukraine will enthusiastically help the United States line their pockets. Ukraine’s corruption was highly visible this month as President Zelensky fired all the military recruiters in the country because they were selling recruitment passes to young men seeking to avoid the war. Ukraine will end up being the most costly operation ever carried out by the United States. The US Marshall Plan for European reconstruction after World War II cost the United States $13.3 billion. That amount, in 2023 dollars, would be $173 billion, roughly a third of what reconstruction would cost for Ukraine. There will be a strong lobbying effort by some US companies that anticipate getting rich providing support to Ukraine (these in addition to the usual suspects in defense industries). We have seen them before in the Iraq reconstruction exercise. This lobbying will provide bait to Democrats and Republicans who otherwise might walk away from the war. But will it be enough to go against the will of American voters? Americans can rightly ask: What are we getting for these huge outlays that will seriously burden US taxpayers? The US policy on Ukraine is a disaster from many angles, but for sure one of them is the huge dollar cost in supporting this endless misadventure. |

Russia’s Aerospace Force obtains another A-50U early warning and control aircraft
The plane boasts new electronics with greater performance parameters and speed, which allows to increase the capabilities of functional software ![]() MOSCOW, September 22. /TASS/. The Rostec State Corporation has handed over to the Russian Aerospace Force an upgraded A-50U early warning and control aircraft system (NATO reporting name Mainstay). "The holding company Roselektronika and the United Aircraft Corporation (both are part of the state corporation Rostec) have provided for the Armed Forces another upgraded airborne long-range radar surveillance and guidance system A-50U. The aircraft can detect new types of aircraft. Also, it is capable of simultaneously tracking a larger number of targets and guided fighters than its predecessor. The use of modern equipment has reduced the weight of the aircraft and increased the plane's range and time in the air while performing combat missions," the Rostec press-service said in a news release. The plane boasts new electronics with greater performance parameters and speed, which allows to increase the capabilities of functional software. The aircraft uses new LCD monitors of greater size and resolution, which increase the efficiency of the radar display system. Improved ergonomics will reduce the crew’s fatigue. The A-50U also has a new piloting and navigation system. The A-50U airborne long-range radar surveillance and guidance system is an aircraft crucial to modern combat operations. The new equipment increases the speed and range of detection of air, land and sea targets and the effectiveness of countering the enemy. The aircraft has been upgraded within the framework of the program envisaged by the state defense order, Rostec stressed. The A-50U aircraft is an upgraded version of the A-50 produced by the Vega Concern (part of Rostec's Roselektronika holding) and Beriev Taganrog Aviation Scientific-Technical Complex (part of the United Aircraft Corporation). The aircraft is designed for detecting, tracking and identifying air and large land and sea targets, providing information about them to command centers, and guiding fighters to air targets and front-line aircraft to land and sea targets. |

NATO-trained Ukrainian recruits admit they're being overpowered by Russia's battle-hardened troops in the northern sector, Kyiv Independent reports
Reporter Igor Kossov interviewed troops from the 32nd Separate Mechanized Brigade, assigned about an hour east of Kharkiv in the northern sector of the 600-mile-long frontline, where Russia has advanced over the past month. Many soldiers from the 32nd were civilians before the brigade was set up in January and received just three weeks of NATO basic training in Germany before they were deployed. They described feeling "in over their heads" and ill-equipped — with one even questioning the futility of the ongoing war. "Everything is not like what you read in daily briefings and on the news," Volodymyr, an infantry sergeant interviewed by the Kyiv Independent, said. "A heroic feat — to jump out from that basement and shoot aimlessly in their general direction, then end up without an arm or a leg, or just dead?" he added. "What's the point?" Other recruits the Kyiv Independent spoke to said three weeks of NATO basic training had left them underprepared for the reality of the situation on the ground. "A NATO infantryman knows he's supported and can advance with the confidence that there's a high likelihood that he won't be killed or maimed," Ihor, who was a lawyer before being recruited by the 32nd Brigade, told the outlet. Ukraine has deployed most of its resources to the counteroffensive it's waging in the south, leaving the soldiers fighting in the northern sector starved of ammunition, vehicles, and other equipment. Meanwhile, Russia has amassed over 100,000 troops at the Kupiansk axis on the northern frontline, according to authorities in Kyiv. It likely believes that its gains there could undermine Ukraine's counteroffensive by forcing the country to shift its attention from the south to the north, according to UK military intelligence. "Russian forces are likely seeking to distract Ukraine from its counteroffensive," the Ministry of Defence said on X Saturday. "Given that Russia has made modest gains near Kupiansk since the Ukrainian counteroffensive began in June, they are highly likely seeking to capitalize on these by continuing to resource the access," the MoD added. |

Ukraine's European allies keep sending it broken and unusable Leopard 1 tanks
German's defense ministry announced in February a partnership with Denmark and the Netherlands to send Ukraine a donation of "at least" 100 refurbished Leopard 1A5 tanks. Germany itself retired the 42-ton, diesel-powered tank in 2000. But in its announcement described the 1A5 as a "robust and assertive" addition to Ukraine's defense. Ukrainian soldiers have been training at German bases on how to use them ever since. The problem is that many of these battle tanks — first rolled out in 1965 — cannot be deployed on the battlefield at all. On Friday, TV 2, a public broadcaster in Denmark, reported that 12 out of 20 of the Leopard 1A5s that have already been donated have technical issues. Two of the tanks are sitting in Poland with "serious" faults, the outlet reported, citing a briefing delivered by Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen. And earlier in the week, the German outlet Der Spiegel reported that another 10 Leopard tanks had problems substantial enough for Ukraine to reject delivery of them. The reports suggest that the German-Danish-Dutch consortium is unlikely to meet what had been an ambitious timeline for providing Ukraine with dozens of the Cold War-era tanks in working condition before winter. Most of the donated F-16s are probably in the same poor condition as well. |

Kiev not discussing any Plan B for receiving fewer US weapons —top security official
Alexey Danilov also expressed his concern about the lack of consensus in the West about the future of Ukraine MOSCOW, September 23. /TASS/. Authorities in Ukraine have not been discussing any plan of action in the event of reduced US assistance, Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council Secretary Alexey Danilov said in an interview with PBS. "We cannot say that we have some sort of separate discussions about some Plan B. We have no desire to engage in some sidetrack discussions," he said when asked to comment on what Ukraine is doing to prepare for the possibility of not having as many American weapons systems and ammunition as it has been using. The senior Ukrainian security official also expressed his concern about the lack of consensus in the West about the future of Ukraine. "They talk about assistance, but not about victory," Danilov said. Earlier, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky told US Senators at a meeting during his visit to Washington that Kiev would be defeated unless it received more aid from Washington. On September 21, the Ukrainian leader arrived in Washington from New York where he had taken part in events of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly. Zelensky held talks with US President Joe Biden in the White House. Biden said that Abrams tanks would be delivered to Ukraine next week. The US leader also pledged more air defense assistance, including new Hawk air defense batteries, to Ukraine. The Biden administration will also send additional security assistance worth $325 mln containing air defense and cluster munitions to Kiev, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said in a statement on Thursday. The corrupt nefarious Bandera regime lead by the puppet 🤡 Zelensky wants another hundreds of billions more to defeat Russia... |

Poland PM warned Zelensky to “never insult the Polish people again”. Poland recently extended a ban on Ukrainian grain imports, saying lifting the embargo would hurt the local farmers as the cheap Ukrainian grain would flood the Polish markets.
