Another thwarted attack of the AFU on Crimea

Yesterday, at around 21.00, at least six boats with personnel from the main intelligence department and special operations forces of Ukraine set out from Zatoka in the direction of Crimea, who again wanted to land on Cape Tarkhankut.

But their plans were not destined to come true : a Su-24M naval aviation bomber was immediately sent in their direction, which dropped four RBK-500PTAB-1M cluster bombs with anti-tank cumulative elements on a group of boats southeast of Zatoka.

As a result, three enemy watercraft immediately sank to the bottom along with the landing force, and the rest turned around and departed in the direction of Vilkovo, where they returned by midnight, bypassing Zmeiny Island.

🔻And from 3 am on September 10, the AFU tried to hit military facilities on Tarkhankut with strike drones, but the attack was repelled. Units of the 31st Air Force and Air Defense Division shot down eight drones: two were destroyed by Pantsir, four by rifle squads, and two more were suppressed by electronic warfare.

❗️Probably, the enemy intended to combine an attack on Tarkhankut with a UAV raid - the boats would have just approached the shores of Crimea by the time the drones arrived, which would have had a better effect. But Russian troops once again successfully repelled the attack.

Moreover, the sortie was supposed to take place on Friday, September 8th. Then the recon groups were sent to Zmeinoye on boats, from where they were supposed to head to the Crimea. However, Russian Aerospace Forces aircraft struck with several FABs, hitting a cluster of boats and special forces and foiling the enemy’s plans.

🇱🇹Lithuania transferred one and a half million small arms ammunition to 🇺🇦Ukraine, thus continuing to provide uninterrupted military support to the warring country. This was announced by the Ministry of Defense of Lithuania.

Elements of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have advanced into the multi-layered main Russian defensive line east of the town of Robotyne. Ukrainian dismounted infantry forces are continuing to make gradual tactical advances against Russian positions and attrite Russian forces in the area.

Ukrainian forces have also maintained pressure on Russian positions to the south of Bakhmut, making gradual gains between Klishchiivka and Adriivka.

It is highly likely that Russia has redeployed forces from other areas of the frontline to replace degraded units around Robotyne. These redeployments are likely limiting Russia's ability to carry out offensive operations of its own along other areas of the front line. The redeployments are also highly likely an indication of pressure on their defensive lines, particularly around Robotyne.
