🔻At the turn of Rabotino - Verbovoye, the "meat" assault on Russian positions by Ukrainian formations continues. After the withdrawal of the Russian Armed Forces from Rabotino, the village finally moved into the gray zone - the AFU do not even try to enter there due to the senselessness of this step.

And with Verbove, the situation is somewhat different: the Ukrainian command sends assault detachments there without stopping to secure them at strongholds under artillery fire, including friendly fire.

Over the past day, the paratroopers of the 2nd battalion of the 82nd Air Assault Brigade, after clearing the area, went on the attack from the Chubenkov Balka area and even managed to gain a foothold in one position, where they immediately began to equip a new one.

🔻But the situation does not change radically: the AFU send infantry groups to slaughter, trying to advance a couple of tens - hundreds of meters in order to somehow justify this tactic. Evacuation teams are working non-stop, taking out the wounded and killed from the battlefield.

The losses of the enemy reached significant proportions, and the "elite" 82 Air Assault Brigade was greatly thinned. Apparently, because of this, the forces of the 71st Jaeger Brigade of the AFU, which have already appeared in the vicinity of Orekhov, will soon begin to participate in the battles.

In addition to army aviation helicopters, bombers of the Russian Aerospace Forces are also working against the enemy in the Orikhiv sector . On the video of the Front Ptichka (https://t.me/frontbird/3329) channel, the simultaneous impact of four FAB-500 bombs with universal planning and correction modules (JDAM) at the positions of the AFU in forest plantations at once.

The appearance of such kits significantly increased the combat capabilities of front-line aviation: after converting free-falling bombs into gliding crews, they got the opportunity to strike at targets from a relatively long distance, reducing the risk of falling under Ukrainian air defense fire.

📌 Literally in a year, the domestic industry managed to achieve more in the development and production of serial high-precision bombs than in the last 30 years. Naturally, the tight deadlines affected the products: somewhere I would like more accuracy, and in some cases more reliable operation.

However, work in this direction continues, and an increasing number of Russian aircraft are able to use these munitions. And more recently, JDAM have also begun to be installed on the FAB-1500, the mass of the warhead of which exceeds that of the Caliber and Iskander OTRK missiles.

Its going to be a blast at the frontlines.

Vremyevsky section: unsuccessful attacks of the AFU near Novodonetsky

Fighting continues in the Vremievsky sector. Over the past 24 hours, the Marines of the 37th brigade of the Ukrainian Navy tried several times to attack at the Novodonetskoye-Novomayorskoye line. According to the Warrior of the Far East (https://t.me/voin_dv/4801) , (https://t.me/voin_dv/4801) they managed to break into the defense, but subsequently the fighters of the 40th brigade of the Russian Armed Forces recaptured their positions.

Similarly, three assault detachments of the 37th infantry regiment, under the cover of mass artillery cluster munition fire, attacked the landings northwest and west of Novodonetsk, where they immediately tried to equip strongholds, which were subsequently destroyed.

At the moment, Ukrainian artillerymen are massively shelling the front line, and detachments of the 35th infantry regiment have been moved to Zolotoy Niva, which indicates preparations for a new wave of offensive.

🔻To the west, units of the 37th Marine Corps again stormed the positions of the Russian army near the forest belts near Urozhayny, but to no avail. At the same time, a low level of morale is noted in the ranks of the enemy and the number of deserters is growing, which is why detachments were placed in the vicinity of Makarovka.

🔻On the direction of Priyutnoye, the situation has not changed much - the AFU have taken up lines along the landing, but they are not going on the attack, waiting for results on the eastern flank. Artillery is working on enemy concentrations: as a result of several strikes by the Russian Armed Forces, eight were killed and four wounded in the 1st Tank Brigade of the AFU, two more fled.

#Comic from Rybar #1: Once Upon A Time In Urozhaine

We've long harbored the idea of starting to create comics, telling episodes of special military operations. The first issue — a trial one, not without flaws, we will improve along the way — we decided to make it in the spirit of ordinary stern heroism and tell the story of the last raid of the Storm Z squad in the village of Urozhaine in the Vremivka salient.

This idea was inspired by an interview (https://t.me/voin_dv/4379) of a VoinDV with a unit that participated in the events.

Synopsis:
On June 4, 2023, the AFU launched a large-scale counteroffensive against Russian positions in Zaporizhzhia and southwest of Donetsk.
Units trained by NATO instructors were thrown into battle on Western military equipment. Alongside them, foreign mercenaries found themselves on the front lines.
The village of Urozhaine was just one of the fierce battlegrounds. The assault on the village lasted for over a month, and the Ukrainians suffered the loss of several hundred killed and wounded.
On August 15, the last Russian units were withdrawn from the village. The former prisoners' squad Storm Z from the 155th Naval Infantry Brigade was tasked with conducting a raid into the abandoned village...

Depleted uranium rounds need to be in Ukraine before Abrams tanks arrive — Pentagon
"I refer you to the Ukrainians to announce when they actually arrive," US Department of Defense Deputy Press Secretary Sabrina Singh said

WASHINGTON, September 8. /TASS/. Depleted uranium rounds for Abrams tanks should arrive in Ukraine prior to the delivery of the US-made tanks, expected this fall, US Department of Defense Deputy Press Secretary Sabrina Singh has told reporters.

When asked to comment on the timeframe of the depleted uranium rounds’ delivery, she said: "I would let the Ukrainians announce when these rounds will arrive. We've said pretty publicly that we expect the tanks to be arriving in Ukraine sometime in the fall. But I just don't have more specifics to offer. I refer you to the Ukrainians to announce when they actually arrive."

She confirmed that the Pentagon’s goal was to have the rounds specifically in time when the tanks arrive.

On Wednesday, the US Department of Defense announced additional security assistance worth $175 mln for Kiev. The latest package for the first time includes depleted uranium rounds for previously committed Abrams tanks. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said at a news briefing that the aid package also includes additional air defense equipment, artillery munitions, and anti-tank weapons. Abrams tanks will arrive on the Ukrainian battlefield soon, she specified.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov described Washington’s supplies of depleted uranium rounds to the Kiev regime as a criminal act that may trigger an escalation.

Austria rules out extraditing draft-eligible Ukrainian citizens

The Austrian government will not extradite draft-age Ukrainian men who entered the country following Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Austria’s Internal Ministry said on Sept. 7. 👍

"We would never do that," Austrian news outlet Exxpress quotes a spokesman for the ministry.

NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg confirmed that the pieces found in Romania were from a Russian drone. Stoltenberg told EU lawmakers that there was no sign that Russia had launched a deliberate attack on Romania and that an investigation was underway.
