Nope and you should NEVER flash to Global ROM.
CN ROM has official compatibility with GMS.

If you're using a CN ROM, you can use the stock "Motorola Mover" app

The 2024 models sure is expensive.

2024 ultra one i think 3.6-3.8k if not wrong.
Now testing Xiaomi mi flip.

You memang foroever testing new phone.....

What Im lazy about getting a new phone is transferring all the data over when changing to a new phone.

Yeah, Motorola don't officially sells them here in Malaysia. Saw lots of seller on Shopee/Lazada, mostly carrying CN sets with some mentioning Global.
Was just wondering if any physical shops carry them, even with their shop warranty.

Mostly import set don't have ready stock. Place order then they ship over from China. You want reputable, contact fastech lim.

Razr 50 Ultra 512gb - 3.6k
256gb - 3.2k


I bought the regular RAZR 50 512gb ~ 2.6k and I'm happy with it.
Sturdier hinge, better camera and battery life VS last year's RAZR 40 Ultra.

Downside is if you play games (ex. MLBB). It can only play smoothly upto medium settings.

Do NOT buy the "Global ROM" set from Shopee or anywhere.
It is just a Moto CN device converted to Global.

Once they have done that, you CANNOT do a software update via over the air, use banking apps and Google Pay.
The worst part is, you can NEVER revert to the original CN ROM.

Aiming for Razr 50 (non ultra) as well. You get yours from a local seller? Real global version for rm2.6k? Read that CN rom still supports Google play, can it still run our local banking apps? If yes, then it would be even better since CN version are cheaper a bit. Not sure if there are other limitation though if going for CN version.

Most of the China rom has not much issue, mostly cannot run android auto. Banking app as i use PBE no issue.
Even google wallet has no issue.

You CAN buy a Motorola phone from China but make sure it's SEALED and using CN ROM.


CN ROM
--- OFFICIALLY supports Google Play and other Google services so you do NOT need a Global ROM.

2 things that do NOT work in CN ROM:
- Android Auto
- Use "Hey Google" to talk to your phone. --- this is disabled from the settings. Of course you can open Google app /Gemini by tapping the icon or double tap the back of your phone to trigger Google Assistant/ Gemini
