Honda already few years 5 years unlimited mileage loh. 100k km just too low. ATF dont want put under free services parts, but capped warranty to 100k km. Know owner got GB k.o at >100k km, like 120k km and Bermaz cuci tangan already

Mazda2 too old, the 3 is a good car but the price too expensive for its segment, I think only the CX5 and CX8 can sell well, but both also start showing it age

let see how BAuto going to price the upcoming CX60, will be expensive

Berjaya has no share in Bermaz Auto, they sold off everything few years ago

I think berjaya still control bermaz

Naza Group is the franchise holder for

Kia Motors and Peugeot brands in Malaysia.

Heirs of Berjaya Group, Naza Group marry in Bukit Tinggi ceremony

Naza Group is Malaysia's largest privately-owned conglomerate with businesses in the automotive, property, food & beverage and telecommunications industries.

Berjaya Group has businesses ranging from direct-selling and retail, to financial services and motor trading.

After they married in 2018, naza sell PEUGEOT to berjaya at 2021.

BAuto is of course not directly affiliated with Berjaya – the current Mazda distributor was spun off after a management buyout in 2016.

With BAuto being part of the BCorp Group previously, we recognised that it would be more synergistic for BAuto to acquire Berjaya Auto," he said in statement today.

Stellantis has stopped Bermaz's 5-year free service, replaced with 7-year warranty

01.03.2024

Stellantis has stopped Bermaz's 5-year free service, replaced with 7-year warranty

New Peugeot vehicles sold by Stellantis Malaysia no longer come with the ‘Peace of mind 5+5’ package. The 5-year warranty and 5-year free service package was offered by previous distributor Bermaz Auto Alliance (BAA).

Effective 29-February 2024, the Peugeot brand in Malaysia will be handled directly by Stellantis themselves.

Instead of the previous 5+5 package, customers will now receive a longer 3+4 years extended warranty, but no free service.

Warranty in the first 3-years will be covered by Stellantis’ factory, while the additional 4-year extension is underwritten by global insurers that Stellantis uses. The terms of coverage are the same so to the paying customer, it's essentially a 7-year warranty, legal semantics aside.

Customers who have previously bought their Peugeot with Bermaz can rest assured that Stellantis will continue to honour the remaining years in their warranty and service contract.

In a separate statement released yesterday, Bermaz said that it is no longer responsible for Peugeot vehicles on the road, and all enquiries should be directed to Stellantis.

“Please be advised that BAA has agreed to transfer the contractual Free Service Maintenance (FSM) program to Stellantis N.V in totality and as such, all future FSM will be carried out through Stellantis N.V appointed network.

“For the more up-to-date information, it’s recommended that customers refer to Stellantis N.V or contact their customer support toll-free number at 1800-18-7852 or email to customersupport.my@stellantis.com for clarification on any specific concerns.”

Good or bad?

To berjaya?

That's because after Stellantis assembles, qaqc and test the vehicle, it goes to a separate building where it gets qaqc again by bermaz, bermaz will send it back to the assembly line if there's defects.

Now bermaz out of the picture, no more second more stringent qaqc check.

Also what if I told you crates of vehicle parts are left exposed to the weather... That just end up being assembled into the vehicle...

Best part there was a time that they were keeping ladder frames in a canopy. Sudah karat, paint on top saja and send to assembly line.

You enter production line of this factory before?

i hate Bermaz more than Mazda. They don't give us the best features on our market but for other countries, no prob to give more. Facelifted CX5 with more price increase, well getting the only minor job of the exterior, even the outdated (very old) HU is retained is amazed me how they choose for it.

inb4, hate limited mileage capped warranty of 100k km, no ATF change where many owners had issues once it passed 100k km, mandatory pay for junk accessories of Sky tint and junk carpet. Additionally, no any directive for way forward on 2.2D engine while the owner has blown head gasket, other region already stopped selling the diesel years ago, and we as usual under the smart Bermaz, keep selling this problematic Mazda Diesel engine.

Bermaz now like Tan Chong style?
