guys,my ram xms2 2gb kit can oc how high if i put it at 2.2v?
is it safe without other cooling solution?bcoz i thnk its enough wif the heat spreader for 2.2v(maximum)

What fuction is disabled?

Phenom can be used in AM2 mobo. But with some function disabled like Split lane power and higher HT Link support.
Yea. Quad is about to released. IIANM, AMD will released in Nov22.

I think 1.5-1.55 is too hot for a windsy F2 with a stock cooler.

I pushed my cpu to 2.5-2.6 and it cant even load windows.
I push the vdimm to 2.15v and vcore to 1.45v.
Still cant do much.

Is there any solutions?

Thats if I can find any at a price I can afford (around RM250 or less). I doubt i can beat F3 in performance even if its a miraculous overclocker, it'll need to clock 4.2GHz to have any chance of beating F3. But it might still overclock better than 3.2GHz, tomshardware isn't well known for pushing their procs to the max.

But that worries me..they don't push to the max and yet penryn can clock 4ghz on aircooling..  AMD, hurry up with Deneb already..

Just got the Biostar TA690G.
Really a nice board w many overclocking functions.

If compared w DFI Inf UltraII-m2, I would choose TA690G. Somehow like TA690G give me more smooth feel.
