Finally!! Managed to reach 3.1Ghz stable!

After so many trials and errors, this is the best i cud get out of my system with current setup. It can go much higher, but didnt dare to add more vcore. Scared oredi.
Thanx A LOT to bro xixo_12. Without your help, i wouldnt be able to achieve this.
And now i managed to know a lot about ram timing due to own tweaking and your guide as well.

that's correct... amd memory controller is in cpu and intel is outside..
last time.. at pentium -D P4 .. it clock ram bad... and amd wins...
now c2d clock ram good than amd... that's all =)

hope amd beat intel in future... real time using computer amd still champ..

Aiyak. Ive been using this setting not just for benching lorr. Its for gaming as well. One thing bout using orthos to stress my cpu is that, TOO BOSAN WAITING FOR IT TO END huhu

Maybe if i bosan playin games then i'l proof this setup is stable enuf.

gaming is fine... but dun say it is stable... that's all
i guarantee sure got problem will happen if not fully tested but that speed at default vcore is fine..

Dats not default vcore man. I added up 0.075V to the proc. Default vcore is at 1.296V for 4000+ brisby. I say it's stable bcoz it is la haha just kidding..

Might test this setup 24 hours later on. Now very2 malas to test it yet.

mine brisbane 3040 only... prime 24 hours stable... more than that... sure prime fail..
u should go prime... maybe it fail.. =X
i tested a lot 4000+ ... mostly cannot stable well in 3ghz...

I think it's bcoz i did LOTS of trials and errors during my OC and eventually the chip becomes better hahah..
Kinda funny bcoz initially i thot i had a very bad brisby. Cant even pass 2.6. That was the time i had not discovered ram timing yet.

just shoot for those never see this ... hehe
real time monitoring computer..... can know the pc temp when gaming...
that is torturing temp.... dun get shock

how to change ram timing? my mobo is NF-M2S... dun hav option for ram timing.... for cpu oc only can change core clock.. from 200 - 300... nothing else... so cant really follow u guys in advance oc

Go and download a software name memset on the net. I for got which version is latest tho. Then you will be able to change your ram timing in windows.

can rely on AMD Overdrive or not? i've downloaded it n seem that it has ram setting function... thx for the memset

lol... i know why ... because it is a locked cpu... sure u can't see 10X...
my bios also same ... i cannot see 11X ... because cpu is locked to 10X
if plug in brisbane with 9.5X multiplier ... i cannot see 10X..
All AMD with socket AM2... will boot to any board ... no bios upgrade also detect as unknown cpu only... no big deal... dun worry
