If you ban Airbnb, that will cause a cascade of negative impact on ALL properties

Then properties will be more affordable to many.

It'll be more affordable but not many will dare to buy, because everyone is waiting for lower prices

As long airbnb operating at proper building, then it's fair to not ban airbnb. Everyone cari makan sahaja.

Residential property 100% ban
Commercial HDA service Apartment. It's better to ban either.
100% Commercial, SOFO, Office Suite (like those Arte, Scarletz, Hugoz, Kyliez, Ceylonz, etc etc). 100% allowed to do airbnb.

The most debate to ban airbnb is at 1st & service Apartment.

Short term yes, but I see a long term benefit for both parties. To allow short-term stay like AirBnB or homestay, there must be strict rules and enforcement to begin with.

Currently I can say no rules has been applied to the short-term stay operators, they can just suka suka turn the unit into their golden goose without taking care of the macro environment. Hotel operators in the other hand are professional short-term stay handler and appropriate enforcement has been applied to them since then.

Well it’s finally happened. I’ve repeatedly stressed what the hotel industry has been lobbying and it’s starting to happen. Only a matter of time this is seen as best practice even in KL.

Happy Merry Lelong everyone!
