been using Floor One S5 Steam since early this year, so far quite pleased with it.
Built quality = Good & Durable
Price = Value worth it.
Cleaning quality = Excellent(both on masonary, tiles, wood, carpets for normal dirtiness.
Cons(for my model):
Heavier side, wired is realiable but gets annoying when tangled and if your houses have very far power point, not very good at cleaning corner /edges, For really dirty surface(Using on hardened-dusty-blackened musang-shit-stained tiles at my parents house, it is quite ok, can see the the original color back, but after a few passes and need to do every passes slowly.
The sensor can be too OCD, always ask clean the filter and change dirty water but you cam bypass ignore it until the red bar notifies you.

Umm. This is not 2018. Why use a manual mop? Robot cleaner is the way cos it’s fully automated. Manual mopping, even just 15 mins a day is a chore.

Some people say it’s not clean enough but asking the robot to clean 3 times a day sure beats a detailed 15 min mopping every week. I can ask the robot to clean as many time as I wish cos there is no time and cost from my end

Hey guys, been looking at this brand for a while and recently went into their store for demo. Everything seems to checks out with the performance, ease of use, etc. I look up some online reviews including from few local influencer (that I think is genuine) and looks great to me too.

However, upon looking up on some forum including Lowyat, seems some people are experiencing issue with their product.

Is it only because people tend to only share bad experience? Has anyone here who had use Tineco product for a long time and have had no issue so far?

i learn one thing, NEVER ever TRUST any influencer review or ANY online review, especially they from MALAYSIA, Malaysia reviewer NEVER tell any true other read their preset SCRIPT.

Marketing and product development plays a huge part of a company’s growth but sometimes what looks good on paper, doesn’t always fly with consumers. Companies are continually trying to innovate by releasing new products every year and for every product that becomes successful, there is always one or more failed products that flop miserably in the marketplace.
*
Exactly what is happening to the world today, and it is getting harder to get the real review of the products instead of some sponsored/paid sales-pitch review. Also, most people only tend to left bad reviews rather than positive one because, as long as it works well why bother to review it. Hope this tread is able to get more real review out for us to make better purchasing decision.

Tineco A11 user since 2021. Within a year usage got a bit prob already, but still can use until now. The battery sometimes blinking even if it's fully charged, so need to cabut and pasang balik few times. This only occurs sometimes, not everytime. So idk what is wrong.
*
What you mean by the "a bit problem" is the battery issue? Have you tried to reach out to their support when the warranty is still valid?

QUOTE(a_dot_el @ May 23 2023, 12:40 PM)
Lol why people keep asking about a product as if expecting the product to last for 10 years
*
Not 10 years but with such a high price to pay we did expect it to last at least throughout the warranty period, instead of having constantly deal with getting it repair as some other review I found.

QUOTE(mezanny @ May 23 2023, 12:41 PM)
On Sunday saw a demo at One U.

They were selling at promo price, ended on Sunday. Think u missed it.

I was tempted to buy, but since I live in a condo, don't think its cost efficient for me. But the idea of a vacuum cleaner and mop in one machine, its pretty attractive to me.

the tineco also can self wash its own roller.

I got a few issues:

1) I live in condo, so at 3k onwards, I don't think is practical
2) I have issue with the cleaning liquid. Its not that expensive at RM 50 for 500ml. But if cannot use other cleaning liquid, that makes it very rigid for me.
3) I have seen some battery lifespan issue complain in facebook and even on their website. Replacement from warranty some complain slow about 3 weeks.

Then again, is only for me, your requirements maybe different and it maybe more beneficial for you.
*
Oh didn't know they were running a demo booth at One U, still remember what is their promo price?

And to your issues:
1. If your budget is below 3k, I think they have a promotion coming up on Lazada / Shopee on May 25th. You can try to check it again.
2. I wonder the same too, and now I know the reason. According to this Youtuber, the issue with 3rd party solution is that it will form bubble and mess up with the sensor and filter. So I guess as long as the 3rd party solution doesn't form bubble then should be ok to try it on.
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

3. I found similar complaint on these too that's why hoping to get some real positive experience here to help with my decision.

QUOTE(mezanny @ May 23 2023, 12:45 PM)
how is the cleaning liquid ? is it good ?

I asked if I can use other brands, the salesman say cannot because afraid may damage the machine n cannot claim warranty.
*
Apparently it's due to the bubble forming if using 3rd parties solution. So I think any 3rd party solution that don't form bubble can be use as an alternative.

well my thought was,
im looking for both steam + vaccumm, and steaming uses alot of power, and i dont think the provided batteries(including spares) will be enough for one cycle cleaning of my house.
and buying another sets of batteries will require more $$. Hence I opt for the wired ones.

i have the Floor One S5 (08/2022) , A11 hero (11/2022), Moda One hair Dryer (07/2022)
So far it has been working well and serves the purpose.

Hair dryer - the ladies in the house love it. cheap alternative to dyson.

A11 - It is very useful, 1 full charge can floor vacuum 2 small rooms. suction is sufficient. You do have to clean the bin after every use.
Quite easy to clean the bin. the filter needs slightly more effort. Comes with all kind of useful adaptors. Takes about 30-60 min for a decent recharge to full charge.

S5 Floor one - this one is subjective. It serves the purpose of ease of moping the house. 1 full charge last you around dinning room and living room . should do a 1000 sqft apartment.
It will not be as clean as mopping with hand and pail, but if you 3x a week no issue. It however save you a lot of effort and finish mopping less then half the time.
The subjective part here is the self cleaning, not really effective. You will still NEED to manually clean the parts, spending 10-15mins.

For me I am satisfied with Tineco, have compared other brands with similar pricing and design but somehow trusted this brand as it is marketed in colonizers homeland as well with good reviews.
I do have a xiaomi robot to help maintain, but in comparison robot cleaning is less effective then actual mopping.
Not limited to Tineco, i recommend TS to get a vacuum mop .

Happened to my A10 as well.. If fully charged and it shows 3 bars on the battery, when i turn on the vacuum, it will still show 3 bars, but after a few seconds it'll start to blink as if the battery is almost finishing but it would still continue to work beyond the expected time when the battery is depleting.

I dismantled everything and washed every washable component, unclogged the tube and vacuum roller and that seemed to fix the issue.

can't remember the promo price, but I checked vs shopee even with discount vouchers, its cheaper by RM 200 - 300.

to me is a big no no, if I have to be limited by the cleaning solution to Tineco's in house solution.

Not sure.. Never used any cleaning liquid before and I don't think mine can utilize any liquid as well. I did state my model , A10 Hero.

Did you notice any battery performance drop when use? And any hair tangling issue you experience?
*
Not really.. It still runs fine for me after a few years. Maybe the battery degraded already but i usually use it about 2 - 3 minutes at once and i charge it every few days when the battery depletes. So far nothing severe that makes me want to buy a new battery. Still works fine as when i need it. Only issue is the turbo button at the top doesn't work 100% of the time. It works probably 10% of the time, but that is something i rarely use because even at normal mode, the vacuum is able to suck up everything.

Hair tangling is normal i think when using the brush but nothing so severe. Just use the accessory to untangle any hair.

I feel it would be most effective for apartment if you its not more then 1200 sq ft. Once full charge would do the job.
And you can just pick it up anytime and clean within 10mins.
Dont spend too much on top model, it may be features that not necessary. I just bought one within budget like the S5. S7 was tempting but i stuck to budget.

I dont always use the cleaning liquid, still am on 1st bottle from purchase. 9 mths now.

Battery durability is what it is. I use the vacuum once a week, no issue so far. touch wood. Like i said before, 1 full charge can do around 1000 sqft.

a vacuum mop is large and bulky. Using cable impedes your mobility a lot. Sure it saves you 1k to 1.5k, but its not worth it.

mind as well downgrade to vacuum and mop manually.

Robot cleaner sound nice but not practical in real household with carpets/floor mats, toys and other stuff like slippers/socks on the floors.
Even the robot mop pad is so mall unless ur area is less than 500sq ft?

I myself own a Roborock S6 Pure. At first it seems fine that you can do what it was marketed to do. But as a pet owner myself, there are certain limitation to what it actually can do and what it cannot. Below I share some of the pros and cons of using my robot vacuum.

Pro:
- Fully automatic
- Can be done anytime, even when you are away
- Can schedule for auto cleaning
- Can reach underneath your furniture as low as 2-inch

Cons:
- Have to do a pre-screening of the area so that it is safe to run
- Only work best with dry particle and dry surface, not ideal to deal with liquid as it has no separate compartment to store the liquid
- Price is high if need one with self-cleaning

Basically, if you have no pets, a robot vacuum should be sufficient because there is no surprise floor condition to deal with. But with pets, a wet vacuum will really save you time by doing sweep+mop together especially if you need to limit your pet to certain area.

Nevertheless, as smart as these get, both still require you to pickup or avoid stuff on the ground manually to get to that ideal condition for best result.

If you use maximum power, of course battery will be drained quickly..

Just buy bro, your wife will love you more..

Wow two batteries??? What model did you get? AFAIK one battery cell or replacement will cost between RM200 - RM300. Btw can't agree more with your last statement lol.

I disagree with this
It is cleaner than mopping with hand and pail
My floors are squeaky clean after using my S5 Floor One

Also I’m using dettol floor cleaner. I only use the solution for self cleaning
Yes manually clean the parts take time. But after a while I’ve got a routine going on and can get it cleaned under 10min

A bit of time spend to clean the parts is nothing compared to the time saved mopping and vacuum the floor with tineco

I think they only have one physical store that just open on May 1st this year, it is the Tineco Flagship Store @ Pavilion Bukit Jalil.

If you did visit the the store later, mind to ask/confirm something with them for me as I only thought of these after I left?

During my visit, the salesman said that buying in store will get you free gift, including extra roller x1, extra filter x1, extra solution x1, comparing to Shopee deal where you only get extra filter x1. He also said they have a promotion on the solution where you can buy 3 get 1 free. And last I checked the unboxing video, it already comes with the free gift he claimed. My question is, if we were to buy in store with their said free gift, is that mean we will get total of extra roller x2, extra filter x2 and extra solution x2, other than what is already equipped in the vacuum itself?

On their website, they do have the Pure One S15 smart dry vacuum but I only saw the A11 Hero. Can you ask if they do carry the Pure One S15 model and if so what is the different to A11 Hero?

Oh, and for anyone who looking to buy, they said that if purchase in store you can just bring the product back to store directly to proceed with the repair/service at their KL service center, instead of needing to set to their JB service center, where all online order are required to do and bear the shipping cost by user.
