Yup. Fare cikai RM5... Sekali kena muntah, cleaning fee RM350++, 1 day income gone, tunggu cuci, tunggu seat kering.

The driver should be terminated. Clear cut case.

I think drivers should be given a choice in this context. Should apply to smoking too. the smell of alcohol and smokes lingered on inside the car for ages. not just for drivers, It's unfair for the next customers/passengers to bear the shit.


But this might open a pandora's box as well.... the same right can be applied to driver rejecting other unsavoury smell passengers might bring into the car.. like perfumes and those acquired by factory workers.

What is needed is a proper solution if passenger vomit.

Grab says will compensate driver but sometimes they lepas tangan and didn't compensate.

Like for my case, it happened at night so the only carwash I could find was some road side one ran by Bangladeshis. They didn't issue me a proper looking receipt with company stamp so Grab rejected my claim even though initially the customer service rep said my claim was already approved. I showed them all the pictures of the vomit everywhere, including my car being cleaned at the road side carwash, and I explained everything.

Getting compensation from passenger also doesn't always go well. Some people are nice, they will pay for the cleaning fee, but my passenger, even with vomit on his shirt, tried to deny that he vomited.

Cleaning fee is RM350++ and 1 day of income is gone because need to wait for the seats to dry.

This lol. Bodo think drunk people is easy to control. My friend even have a case where the passenger vomit in the damn car. Of course you can report to grab but ur car takes a while and a lot of work to clean and to get rid of the smells.

Why to the extend she need to beg him to cancel. Not her fault.

I would say driver fault.

Driver immediately judged. Instead of expecting the lady to explain politely, he could have asked politely, "sorry to ask miss, but i had bad experience during this times i just want to check that you didn't had alcohol?" OR SOMETHING Or I don't know how he should ask, but he should figure it out himself instead of judging right away.
