Why to the extend she need to beg him to cancel. Not her fault.
I would say driver fault.
Driver immediately judged. Instead of expecting the lady to explain politely, he could have asked politely, "sorry to ask miss, but i had bad experience during this times i just want to check that you didn't had alcohol?" OR SOMETHING Or I don't know how he should ask, but he should figure it out himself instead of judging right away.
