@Virgil: Well, not me. I fed-up. Somehow, this DoR doesn't prompt me to play much. I lost my interest after chapter 18.

Enemy AI is good but yeah, I just hate the new CO power system.

Btw, there's a small island (trial map), sooo small...and easy to capture the enemy base within 5 days or so...yet I got a C for incapable of performing a good strategy, lol. I took 20 days "wandering" around the maps. Not sure why, guess I got a weakness in that trial map.

Anyway, right after that post of mine...well, I managed to finish the Campaign . Sigh, Cyrus...if only we can use him...somehow.

Well, actually i have never played the previous Advance Wars so i am kind of fresh on this game.
Finally beaten the game, after my 10000th retry on the last mission

^I just finish it like mins ago. Damn, after 10000x of retry also, manage to nail him in the coffin @ round 12.

Mine europe version, wan? Tax + Delivery + Cost....almost double the price

Well the carrier is just weird....sometimes can produce and sometimes cant produce seaplanes.

You think the CO system sucks? Wait till u play the first Advance Wars on the Gameboy. That time they called it GB wars. The AI damn good. No CO that time....Play till cough blood....And If you play the non turbo version, the AI took about 20 minutes to finish their turn if u are half way through your game. Well Maybe i played the non CO version before.....so it doesnt bother me much that they downtune the CO system hehe

Umm...actually, I played all series of AW so far, hehe. I hate it because of when I lose my CO unit, I'll have to start over, somehow I just like to push my CO unit into a meaningless battle and watch that unit get tin-foiled.

You can produce 2 seaplanes again after the first 2 are launched.

Last map is insanely....well....a total madness?! Talk about cheat! I need the best strategy to gain a Golden S...

Whoa! So there is such thing as a Golden S rank?!
Now i am currently just trying to get all Platinum S rank for all the mission.
Finish my last level at Day 18. Got an S rank for it

Grr... one whole week from release and no signs still on our shores. PJ, you in the UK right? Beh, one thing i don't miss about there and oz is the bloody lame and slow PAL conversions

That's a platinum? Isn't that color a silver? Whenever I get a few points lower, it's a platinum(?)/silver S. Higher points, Gold in color, that's how I understand. My first try...39 days...ewww. Last try, "secret" days,

ps: Hmm...need to double check this color thingy....I don't pay any well attention to the result screen.

I am replaying the mission too, left 5 level without S rank some gold & some silver/platinum. I replay the last level, finished at round 11.
Once you get the hang of it, last mission is pretty easy...


lol, if it wasn't CNY the game will be with you already. Europe hardly get any games early, maybe 1 out of 10.

hey guys, anyone here really spot any actual copy of the game? my fren's coming down to KL this friday. was hoping to get a copy for each of us...

1 more question, are we able to set team when waging wifi?

Personally, I think that the newest installment for AW: Days of Ruin isn't as good as it predecessor.

Graphic:
The color used throughout the game is brown in color and is very dull. The battle animation was not as good as the previous release.

Sound:
No comment about this. But I can pretty much say that the sound being used in this game is just simply... normal... Not that kind of sound you would like to hear during a war, LOL.

Control:
The control scheme seems to changed in this game. More convenient to use, yet...
