Not job security for my kids.  They would do fine. Its the parents job security. Imagine lost job so have to go back malaysia probably. Kids have to serve 2 years of NS which in a way they will lose up to Malaysian that does not need to serve. But that said I was told they do get sgd1000 /month for serving NS. something to consider.

I don’t think you can have the cake and it - and I mean it literally and figuratively. I kinda jump into conclusion when you brought up 1k in your post. Even if you apply without your kids, I think the chances for approval is probably low.

Don’t be a contrarian. Follow the system and abide. The conclusion is not clear for a reason because it can be applied both ways.

This is if they tried to dodge it after reaching NS age but if they did it before they reached NS age, then I doubt it. If you're interested, you could dive into the Enlistment Act to find out more.

They do however have "soft measures" that they can apply which would affect the kids and their kids ability to stay long term in SG. There are already official statements made on this.

Sinkie doesn't like PR mostly because they can run road with CPF once they renounce PR upon retirement while Sinkie is stuck in SG + PR gets a lot of benefits.

Malaysians, if you intend to spend a large part of your life in SG, do make effort to integrate and contribute to the society.

Please don't go SG 几够力一下 and complain SG if you want to make a living here.

may I know if the EP152 form mentioned cannot be more than 2 weeks is means the date cannot be more than 14 days or calculated per week?

But majority Malaysians are parasites. Come earn sgd > apply PR > no get complain but get then abuse. What's their purpose of PR then? Just for the gains, such as job security, CPF, etc.

I'm curious why was there a fall of 30k of PR during pandemic? That's about 5% drop, which is alot.

I'm not too sure about that because I was sponsored by my wife. I took a shortcut to PR .. haha .. maybe those that got it legitimately would be able to answer this. I think both would work.

I think Singapore's population is increasing too fast, and the government needs to do more land reclamation by the sea. More and more space is needed.

Now the MRT is very crowded even non-peak hours and Woodlands customs are also packed.
Even on Sundays morning 10am, when I go back to JB, there are so many people queuing for buses 160/170/950 at Woodlands Custom.
