i just diy an extra lighter socket
now can use phone charger wifout my hand hitting the wire everytime i shift into 1st gear

nice. u extend the wire from original socket?

spray some WD40 to ur hood lock shd be ok then.. aircon when u 1k service ask them to rectify for u. tell them the blower blows every where and the temp setting is rubbish.. and the air also sucking from outside.. Mine 1 they rectify during my 1 k service jo.. every LMST also same.. 9 out of 10

come to think of it,...mine oso same case...
what did they do to rectify urs?
any idea?

but getting to it was a real b1tch
had to take out the aircond console...and also the radio/central ac vents console...
then onli could get at the wires...
made a Y connector n curi power from the ori socket lor hehe

i saw the the swtich at glemarie proton parts. is actually 3 wire n it will connect to other parts to control vendalation,temp n open pod.
maybe they open up n tighten the wire.

ya something like tat they ll go crawl down under ur dashboard then they ll adjust the cable for u.. no need to open up anything

but the thing is after they adjust when i switch it will it loosen again. aiks

Added on October 27, 2007, 3:23 amthe socket thing. i rather buy 3 way socket n link the wire inside the original socket. 1 for ionizer, 1 for hp charger, and 1 for front decoration light. any idea for not using 3 way socket?

the selection for where it blows in manual
its a lever system that pulls n pushes a cable which works a damper in the aircond box
the selection for recirculating the air or taking in air from outside is a single link lever
simple setup
but the selection for where it blows is a double link 3rd class leaver which works the cable
that is one of the things that rattles
i added a thick rubber washer inbetween the two links at the intersecting pin
now most of the rattle from there is eliminated

but then...it still blows everywhere


i going to plug back the lighter piece
but its out now coz i just sprayed it flat black
1 2 make it less noticeable

if stick at the side of the ac console wont look nice...coz will have the wire running down to it
and it will still encounter the prob of the connector wire being in the way of the 1st gear anywayz...
sighz...totally not strategic lar that thing

of coz not gonna plug in there. the 3 way socket can hide at the drawer n wire the cable inside the original socket
