QUOTE(ikanbilis @ Dec 14 2023, 04:01 PM) If only the Rize app is as smooth as Gxbank app, i would still be using them. Hope the new Rize CEO can revamp their app if they want to capture more market share. They compensate too much for their CEO salary & bonus. They should just use those funds to keep attractive rates for Rize

QUOTE(LuckyBai @ Dec 27 2023, 02:27 PM) What must have 100k to enjoy the 4%? Or should it be 6%? Also, the bonus interest calculations are for the first 100k.. Not must have 100% to be exact. Crediting your salary into uob one is one of the options.. You can complete the steps by transferring fresh fund of 2k, make 3 bill payments of Rm50 above, spend RM500 min with your credit or debit card etc For UOB One Account, 1st 50k is 2% and next 50k at 6% so with total of 100k is averaged out at 4% interest. Above 100k is at 3.6% if I'm not mistaken. My balance above 100k is sitting in Rize to enjoy 4% too.

Using a combination of UOB One Account and Rize works best for me provided you have over 100k in Savings. Even if there's hiccups in Rize, I can still access funds from UOB. Another plus is you can move 50k from both accounts if needed. Just too bad that Rize promo will end in March next year.

QUOTE(BWassup @ Jan 4 2024, 03:08 PM) I asked her specifically if it was because it's a new bene. She said "No, it's due to some parameters of the Bank". They don't want to disclose the exact parameters, to avoid fraudsters working around that? Probably as you say, it's a new party, which is not under "Favorite" So far my transactions are only to my favorites which are bank accounts under my name. Whenever I make a transfer of 10k & above, still need to do verification with CS & they will do 'maintenance' on their side for transaction to be successful.

QUOTE(jasontoh @ Feb 6 2024, 02:03 PM) Did anyone here come across someone from Al-Radjhi bank call to offer Affluent Banking? If so, did you take up the offer and what are the benefits? Yes they called me to be an Affluent customer as they would like people to experience their priority banking. The requirements is currently lowered to RM150k.

QUOTE(jasontoh @ Feb 6 2024, 04:19 PM) So did you take up the offer? How is their priority banking service? I've been to the Kota Damansara branch twice. I'll have to say that there are hardly customers compared to other banks that you would get instant service even without priority banking lol. Of course there are other perks being Affluent like there's parking bays for you outside the bank & a RM. Also you can lock in 4% interest for your savings account with a minimum balance of RM150k till end of March (same as Rize promo).

QUOTE(virtualgay @ Mar 15 2024, 12:09 PM) did anyone recevied call from Rize / Al Rajihi bank asking them to place FD for 4%? they guy on the phone said after 31st March no more 4.0% rate with Rize and advice me to open FD with 4% with them for 6 months... is genuine call not scam ya... i guess this is a hint that our hope for 4% is GG let us start to look for alternative do suggest alternative high interest % saving account option 1: GX Bank 3% Option 2: UOB (not familiar but seems like can get 4% with some condition) anyone have any idea/? For UOB, need to maintain RM100k in One Account & perform 2 actions for 4% interest. The 2 actions I do monthly are transfer RM2k & bill payments total of RM500. https://www.uob.com.my/personal/save/saving...ount-index.htmlThis post has been edited by virulence: Mar 15 2024, 03:30 PM

QUOTE(BWassup @ Mar 18 2024, 09:22 AM) Rize seems to be imposing limits on my single transaction transfers. Tried to transfer 35k to my own account with MBB saved as favorite, but it was rejected, tho my transfer limit is 50k. Split the 35k into 2 transfers both below 30k, no problem going through. Think they should at least call me to explain the matter. Are they having liquidity or reserves issues for the upcoming mass withdrawals

QUOTE(ericlaiys @ Mar 18 2024, 10:18 PM) I don't really trust. why don't they leverage on existing system rather than ask to open another ACC. all they can do is provide like fd services. then we decide our own. feel like scammer. don't expect bank do this Rize no lock in and interest paid monthly which is very liquid for customers but for them to do that they need to have cash reserves lying around and not profiting so how would they pay us 4%.

QUOTE(Vincent9696 @ Mar 26 2024, 02:14 PM) since Rize 3.8 , then got to move the fund already... any place can park which given 4% +- , other than KDI , VERSA 3.8% till end of June. Won't be surprised if rates drop further as the market anticipates US Fed Res to cut rates this year followed by other central banks. Might even be a good idea to lock in PBB FD at 3.75% now.

QUOTE(ericlaiys @ Mar 28 2024, 09:04 AM) 10 pocket with each 5k total 50k will get 5% I would only park 50k at GXB since I can only create 1 account. The rest still in Rize for 3.8% GXB could learn from KDI, just give first 50k at 5% and above 50k at 3%. All this hassle to create 10 pockets.
