Poverty around Mississippi,West Virginia and all around the Appalachian mountain started when a lot of coal mining industry there slowly gone. But at least they're not homeless compared to other rich state with big city setup, drug problem is crazy around this area including West Virginia.

Best way to survive tornado is to hide in basement with food and supplies and then wait for rescue. And learn the meaning that material attachments are just burdens in life. If live in kampung area then don't buy stuff that you cannot afford to lose. If want to buy lots of expensive stuff go live in a big city surrounded by tall concrete buildings.
