Mine is the 1080p model. Good enough with a 500Mbps fibre broadband. Smooth even under 4G when viewing outside the home.

With Tapo LED light string or bulb, u can set some rules to turn those on upon people detection too.

Maybe i try the 3MP
As 2MP = 17x, +20 get 3MP, but +50 to get 4MP.
4MP = starlight color night vision blink.gif

Tapo works quite well with my Google Nest Hub, no issues streaming the feed to it.

Ezviz was a bit wonky.

using Ezviz, but the view quite lag, not sure line or what. and the card 256mb always disconnect. try diff brand card and Ezviz too.
Seem Intresting. especially the wireless decorder. have u using it? is it okie?
by the way, Imou i see only 2mp. will it very different compare to 4mp?
Imou Ranger 2 protect water? i fixed indoor but shop. so maybe water/air kena.

Ranger 2 for indoors. But my friend did install it at his car porch on the ceiling. But im not too sure about long term exposure to high humidity/moisture during rain.

My imou cruiser is 4mp, and its pretty clear/high res. however, my imou bullet is 1080, its still clear. So im sure, if you go for 2mp, it should be ok

okie. thanks.
Last week i wan buy imou in shopee. No outdoor stock.
i got my order on Tapo 510W. 3MP. Now using it and test see how.

If u ask me, i got Ezviz 4MP, zoom until 4x 8x. from inside shop zoom to outside. not really can see plate car number. but indoor quite clear, with vivid setting.
For Tapo 510W, still testing. but quite clear indoor even 3MP. Not test outdoor yet.

For Price. Ezviz 4MP lowest 18x, Tapo 3MP lowest 16x.

Installation - Ezviz easy because can scan QR code, follow step, done.
Installation - Tapo need search the device, i try few time only can connect, follow step, done.

Adv - Tapo can set auto move left to right. Like 90%, 180%, one point to another point. auto follow when detect too.
Adv - Ezviz auto zoom when track person. Zoom face. hahaha. sometimes really move too fast.

Other im not sure. hope can update more.

Between the tapo and ezviz phone app, which do you find easier to use and more reliable? Esp when accessing live feed from outside

Hi all

Greetings and selamat sejathera
I am comparing between Tapo and Ezviz . I see Ezviz have many series of camera conpared to Tapo .

Q1..Just wanted ur feedback on both cammera

Q2 ..The battery operated camera where they mention it last 180 to 210 days is it really true. I am ssure some of u have used it for certian places that u dont have power source
Appreviate ur feedback bro and sisters

i'm using ezviz BC2 (black colored one). battery operated. so far still running 40 days now after full charge. battery is left with 61%.
but bear in mind, the more traffic in your cctv POV & auto capture footage, the more it will drain battery.

i put outside under porch to watch for courier delivery guys.

shopee seller said cannot use with solar panels. i bought one china mari solar panel. can charge and works like a charm. icon_idea.gif

I am using Reolink with POE now, quite expensive but it just works and files are saved locally with optional cloud access for free. Which is why I use it

Also their ColorX camera is amazing
