I'll start with my regrets

1) too many downlight (in which over the 8 yrs of living, didnt really utilised much of it)
2) bed frame without stand, dirty at the covered bottom and always hitting the bulky edges
3) didn't change my whole house's piping, still using GI from developer (too naive to trust contractor at that time)

1. Did not choose a bigger sink, mine is 60cm x 45cm, I should've gotten the 75cm x 45cm.

2. My downlight is still too close to my ceiling fan, causing shadow chopping effect.

3. Not enough plug point

Not enough down light for wet kitchen

Kitchen table top is L shape, not user friendly at the L corner. Should have made angle corner

Didn’t do tinted before add grille

should have asked the contractor to pull dual water supply (city + tank) to my wet kitchen sink, so that when there's a water cut, can still use the tank water to finish the washing

Something like this, depend on piping system at your home

i see, but i think this is like by-passing the tank instead?

for me, i would like to have the tank water to come to my wet kitchen sink instead (currently is direct), with a separate stopcock below the sink tap so that i can do the switch over when needed

Same concept, just need to change direction of one way valve from tank to main pipe.

eg: No water at main pipe(low pressure) > water from water tank will push (pressure) > one way valve (open) > water flow through main pipe

Again, depend on piping system maybe need to add another one way valve. The point is, can be done la biggrin.gif

1. for this round, i will get a bigger one for sure, forget about dual sink at wet kitchen, less advantage than 1 single
2. i try to minimise my downlight, gonna use more track lighting
3. will add like mad for this, every damm corner

point noted for the copper and drain outlet, so far i will prepare wiring but the location is just backwall of the house, so drainage shldnt be a problem

U can still DIY add more lighting.

Just get plaster ceiling saw, some wiring for looping and cutter to cut the metal holding plaster ceiling (if any)
