i have no problem applying for credit cards with Maybank.... got 3 cards already from them (one is the twin visa-amex cards)
RHB on the other hand, die-die!! want me to get their credit card despite me refusing, the staff said its ok, just apply, no need to use also no problem, told me they need to keep up with KPI or something...
I kesian her, so applied... they gave me their signature visa card...
once I got it, I just kept it in my closet... never used... now 3 years already... only thing is I got taxed RM25 peryear for it...

QUOTE(viktorherald @ Mar 2 2023, 10:24 PM) if you go set PIN for the card --> activate the card... if you didnt activate it, will stay dormant... salesperson will keep call you and nag, and say want to help you activate via phone call or not.. the benefit that the card is stated to have is - I can get complimentary access to Plaza Premium Lounges for 5x per year... See here: https://www.rhbgroup.com/personal/cards/cre...redit-card.html...so, should I just used that benefit without using the card for anything at all? I am tempted to try....
