Is anyone here subscribed to HBO Go?

I am thinking about ditching Netflix for HBO Go, but I have several questions that I couldn't find answers for in https://www.hbogoasia.my

Hoping other sifus here can help enlighten me.

1. How's the quality? Is 4K + HDR10/Dolby Vision available?
2. Is everything from HBO Max available in HBO Go, or is it limited?
3. Are the contents completely uncensored and managed by HBO? Or does it go through Astro replete with shit quality compression and censorship?

All the other available streaming services (e.g. Disney Hotstar, Apple TV+) in Malaysia don't offer enough interesting content to warrant switching from Netflix.

Got all those with astro (except apple tv)
And i don’t even stream that much unless it’s got shows i want to see

Anyone have issue streaming with HBO Go?

Im using 800Mbps line ; 400Mbps to my Android box ; but only 10Mbps to HBO go server

On Netflix I'm getting 200Mbps

So confirm it's not an issue on the line or Android box

I can't even get a decent 1080p view on this HBO go let alone 4k

I don't have the problem with Netflix or Disney only HBO go

it's the poorest of all the VOD apps in terms of PQ.

even HBO linear channels are better than HBOGo.

This is so misleading

If your subscription is through Astro, then you get Standard Package, which only offer Full HD with Dolby 5.1. You need to subscribe with different account and choose Ultimate package to get 4K UHD with Dolby Vision & Dolby Atmos
