I was introduced with this series back in late 90s. that time ae86 was only around rm40K+
thanks to fast and furious film suddenly this manga also start famous in early 2000s

THat time uni first and second stage I watched the HK dub version on VCD. Not bad the voice acting haha
Third stage onward download the fan sub already
Before the series never heard of the AE86 before haha. But saw the RX-7 FD and very rarely the FC. The FD back then quite popular, ppl refer to it as the Batman car because of a slight similarity to the Michael Keetons bat mobile
But the RX is probably dead liao thanks to new emission control. Dont know how they can make the rotary engine more efficient save making the car a hybrid of some sort

FD3S was famous back in the mid 90s, thanks to Playstation Gran Turismo game
together with Mitsu GTO, Supra, R32, R33, NSX , etc damn, those were the good old days for petrolheads

Yup agree, bought the vcd from S&M near KL Kotaraya last time during school time.
The HK dub not bad, rewatch it many times then comes the 3rd stage. Still prefer the previous stage HK dub of takumi.
After that 4th stage onwards download liao.
Since then really a fan of Jap sport car and watch the best motoring show and play gran turismo ps game.
