Takumi will be the mentor of the new hero. But from what i can see its normal street racing and its an 86 vs supercars as well. How the hero gonna even win i dont know

But a nice touch was Takumi actually put to use all he learned from day one to beat a kid who's basically him from stage 1 to 2 kek. Down to the part of controlling the car when the engine blew

Maybe i watch with my kids now la. This could be to them what Initial D was to me in the 90s kek

Before the series never heard of the AE86 before haha. But saw the RX-7 FD and very rarely the FC. The FD back then quite popular, ppl refer to it as the Batman car because of a slight similarity to the Michael Keetons bat mobile

But the RX is probably dead liao thanks to new emission control. Dont know how they can make the rotary engine more efficient save making the car a hybrid of some sort
