Despite not winning an election, Zafrul was appointed to minister in the previous and current administration.

You just choose not see it.

Really no downsides to eating bugs?

What about the downside that it is processed shit and might lead to more diseases like cancer and diabetes?

Who needs long term studies?

Just stick Safe & Effective label and call all detractors conspiracy theorists.

Which movie?

Is it the same moral of the story as The Platform?

Because intensive live stock farming is no longer sustainable. Think back to you great grand parents generation how often they ate meat.

Despite all that, insects didn't become their staple diet. Did your grandparents pass down any insect recipes?

our ancestors time, population was less than 2 billion until it exploded in the last 100 years.

people always talk about organic farming, old ways of farming etc. they forget that industrial livestock farming is the only way we can supply meat in the quantities we eat today for an industrial population.

in my interpretation, the ending could be seen as a reference to the biblical

"Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth."

The elites know education and standard of living strongly correlates with lower birth rates. Even M birth rate is below replacement rate now.

Why they want us to eat bugs and take yearly clot shots instead of raising the standard of living of poor countries?

Is it because they know higher standard of living = more consumption?

So they have decided only they get to enjoy high standard of living while the rest of us eat bugs and live in pods and play yearly clot shot lottery.

Meanwhile, more than 2 billion Africans have not received the clot shots for some reason.

Did I just summarize the movie?

I've eaten crickets in Thailand. it's heavily seasoned. Don't think will be suitable for daily consumption even for the locals there.

Locals there all eat pork, beef, chicken, fish.

People who think Thai people eat insects everyday are crazy.
