so the .dex is a file inside the apk
because if you try to open an apk file in like 7zip, its basically just a zip file, can explore the contents inside

so it seems like whatever weird antivirus you have unpacked it and detected something suspicious in said file (well, you know what you downloaded)

it says D is a usb drive, what usb drive is this?

For problematic SD cards, format using a digital camera or other non-PC devices. These devices will ignore the damages done by the malware.

Considered quite ancient already with modern smartphones.

I still kept my old Canon PowerShot A20 for such emergencies. Nothing eats a camera using 4xAA batteries.

If you cannot reformat that SD card, it is very likely damaged/ corrupted.

You can try to reformat/ repair it.

https://filehippo.com/download_hp-usb-disk-...ge-format-tool/

Or if you want to try to unlock the file,

https://www.filecroco.com/download-unlocker/download/

Have tried other card readers?
Or it could just be a unlucky coincidence that your SD Card decided to die at this time

Also try
https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter/

The official SD Card formatter tool

where did you get it from/what brand?

Usually SD Cards have a decently long warranty period, try to claim it

Yeah I would say just warranty it (if it also doesnt format on other devices (eg, android phone), I had a basic 16gb sandisk go read only on me when it died, so could be similar problem.

Just curious, have you check the physical switch on write protection on your SD card?

Checking the listing in TS's screenshot, it does seem to be a MicroSD Card with an adapter

Do make sure the adapter's write protect notch isn't set to lock
And do double check, my old laptop liked to push it over to lock while inserting the card in

eh, I dont like sites like these, they are SEO junk generated sites made from templates like "10 ways to fix PROBLEM"
diskpart already tried by TS
messing with regedit or group policy is risky

which brings you to step 4 where they try to sell you their software, which is their goal

Easier to just go claim warranty, seems like this product has lifetime warranty, so go make use of it.

Looks to me it is a damaged card. Nothing much you can do with this I/O device error.
You may try to download the files onto another drive (if you were able to access the disk, that it).
But have to do it many times, and small number of files at a time. Good luck.

Usually no, you will have to manually copy anything you need off the card and store it somewhere else temporarily before sending it in

This is a bummer. A bit ironic that they are giving a replacement to a product they sold that went konk in the first place.

It's the most ideal failure mode, since you can still read and get anything you need off it

If it had died completely and could not be read, then rip all your data on it
