Im not questioning about eating babi is haram. Im questioning about eating vegetarian food in a non halal restaurant which also serving pork, is it haram? In quran any verse saying this?

Because many said ultensil used to cook pork cannot be use to cook food for muslim , is it haram to eat vegetarian food prepare from the same ultensil that was used to cook pork?

Is it stated anywhere in the quran?

Sahih Muslim (279)

Because the category of pork and dog is najs mughallazah, so it has to be washed like that first before it can be used to cook halal dish.

Faktanya mana? Ke kau cakap haram then haram? Halal then halal? Orang kena ikut cakap kau? Macam penungang lah ko ni.

So it is not haram correct? Same ultensil can be use as long it is cleaned and the food is halal, in this case vegetarian is confirm halal coz vegetarian contain no meat is true and no vegetable is haram is also true.

Ada puak sini cakap tu haram macam orang yang reply i kat atas tu, pandai pandai buntut dia cakap haram. Tak pergi kaji selidik. Agama sendiri tak tau.

How sure are you that those utensils are cleaned as prescribed? This is not just put in sink settle like that.

In Islam, the concept of syubhah is there. If you cannot know for sure and the evidence points to haram, then you have to avoid as in all likelihood it’s haram.

And how sure are we the ultensil isnt clean? Didnt quran have verse saying if we dont know then it is not haram?

Like you said anyone can avoid, but at same time it is not haram. He knew the venue is non halal restaurant, he choose to go but it isnt haram. And the food that was arrange to him isnt haram as well.

Anyway islam was practice differently here. Muslim in pakistan, sarawak, indonesia, uk, usa, australia practice theirs differently, they going kfc and macdonald that serve bacon or going to restaurant without halal certificate.

My own personal view.. I may get criticism but if I know that shop sells pork, of course I'll avoid as best as I can even if serve vegetarian. But if I go to a non muslim friends house.. I just eat if they serve me non pork food. I don't fikir sampai utensil tu tak cuci suci etc.
