He did say he could borrow up to 3M. But really I’d encourage you not to overextend and get what you can afford now. It looks like you’re in the rabbit hole of luxury units where you’re continually impressed by some of the top tier units in the country.

Budget and affordability is 2 things, my friend. We are very risk conservative, hence we start with 1m budget knowing we will go all the way up after viewing, is common behavior to feel impulsive as human being.

I only wasting agent time if I am viewing 4m property. Sell or rent first simply because we want to keep the risk at minimum level.

How do you know I not there yet or I want MK is because I want to feel good? Even I want to feel good, who are you to judge? You know me very well?

Be less judgmental lar my friend, and climb the post in the thread first, before jumping to comment, don’t just create a new account and go around to comment. Peace.

Haha! Yea man! Luckily we realized we are in rabbit hole now. You mentioned lotsa time not to stretch, I will stamp that in mind. Anyway is very true lar, getting least into seni ady recently, we don’t want to extend to there most likely.

Sticking back to our purchase objective: a good value condo in strategic location with reasonable larger size and healthy community.

i always has one more criteria...a location that give me most free time to use at my will. That will include consideration of office location an amenities to support my family life style. And i dun want to spend a lot of time and money maintaining the house also, the house should serve me, not the other way.

I like this, the house should serve us not the other way. Great great. My wife is regional finance controller in big MNC, occasionally travel Europe and around Asia, otherwise both of us work near klcc long time ady. Serene place within happening area will serve us well.

Yup. But beware that sometimes it could take 15-20 minutes from Desa Sri hartamas / verve suite to jalan kiara . Traffic is bad .

For kiaraville size you can also look at MK aman . Getting in / out from kiaraville to jalan duta kiara not so convenient due to the traffic light in front especially during peak hours.

Once you go into the 1.5M+ range then landed becomes a very valid option and that will open more questions and choices for you. Analysis paralysis is a terrible affliction.

If agent not willing to spend those time, should they be agent?

An agent should be our partner in making decision and helping us overcoming difficulty along the journey. If one only want to sell stock and earn commission, where is the competitive advantage?

Well Winnie it’s part and parcel of the game. Anyone has the right to go view a million dollar unit whether they can afford it or not. Some people might just be going for a walk around with no intention of buying anything. No harm no foul.

You make too many assumptions without clarification. My current affordability calculated by bankers is including current house commitment. It’s not the matter of ready or not, and is not a matter of can or cannot, is our preferences and comfort.

I understand some agents want those quick sales, things doesn’t work like that for everyone. I don’t know why you holding grudge on this, either yourself it’s an agent, so you perasan a lot, or your friends family are agent.

Once I signed selling SPA here, I will want to offer asap, and sign purchase SPA. We are doing it in parallel, having few options of units we are ready to offer is needed in my plan, I don’t want to rush to make offer.

Anyway I don’t need to explain my plan to you. You are not adding values here

Try to come to Mont Kiara during peak hours. Or, join those MK FB groups to read those complaints about traffic congestion.

It is nice to stay here if not because of the peak hour traffic and those idiots drivers (especially those big MPV). I have been staying here for long and plan to move once my new house is ready.
