This happened 3 days ago.

I have been regular customer of Bungkus Kaw Kaw for few years now. At one time, for 6 months, I buy their coffee every day (Mon - Fri). Today, as I went to buy my usual Cham Ais (half ais and half sugar), this is what I get. This is the first time I buy from their Low Yat Plaza branch. I asked the cashier how come it is not full, she replied cause I asked for less ais. This is absurb! The amount I get is less than half a cup as the top part it tapered to bigger size.

So I lodge a complain to their HQ and all I get is, we will get someone to contact you. Nothing for few days.
To be fair to other outlets that I have been to, none of them are petty like this. Only the Lowyat branch is like this. Other brands selling coffee or boba does not do this when you ask for less ais. Also, since I ask for less sugar, shouldn't they add more coffee for me going by their "standard"?

So by their logic, when I ask for less sugar, shouldn't they compensate me back with coffee or discount?

less ice smaller cup seems quite fair

Setabak all cup same quantity also got many people buy.

as someone who work in this F&B company in the HQ, complaining to HQ is almost useless lol. Our management will only entertain the complaints if there are too many customers complaining the same thing. U gotta ask all your friends to spam the complains in FB, email, tiktok. For sure their marketing head will take notice and voice out to management. But for me personally not worth the hassle just boycott lar. So many other places with cheaper meals

I buy drinks from lots of other brands like tealive, chatime, starbucks, black whale and so on. None of them do this when ask for less ice or even no ice. Cause you are paying higher price for the drinks. Yes, even bungkus kaw kaw, it's RM7.90 is not particularly cheap. At least not cheap enough for them to need to resort of this type of tactic.

If you look at the tapered cup, that is at least half a cup.

Also, all the other bungkus kaw kaw outlets I buy from does not do this. Only first time I get this from Lowyat Plaza outlet.

This is not the way to do business. Period.

No, starbucks does not do this. I buy starbucks for more than 10 years already and never encountered this.

Bet you pour this into thier smaller cup it will be full

So point of argument is you are paying big but get small quantity. Keyword is quantity not less or more ya

Complain to realive hq is like complain to wall one. Unless u viral It hurt Thier reputation then they only take u seriously..

Like, if you is the one less ice, even though they don't have this option, then what you get is less ice. If you want less sugar, you get less sugary drink, that's all. They are not to like give you more coffee just because you minta less ice. Or give you a pat on the back because you want a less sweet drink.

Point is, what you are to expect is less of the things you DO NOT want, that is all
