Personal thoughts: Possibly worst pricing of Redmi Note series phone in Malaysia yet, better off paying the same price for the Xiaomi 11T 256GB with better processor, camera, even metal and glass build than the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ at RM1599

Anyone can confirm..Malaysia version redmi note 12 4g got nfc or not? Shopee/lazada spec sheet got listed, but none malaysia youtube reviewer mention about it

All 3 models (Redmi Note 12 4G, Redmi Note 12 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G)do not support NFC in Malaysia, as per talking to Xiaomi CS

If no nfc even on highest Pro+ variant, samseng A34/54 are definitely better buy

Then that's at least a relief for buyers shelling over RM1500 for the device, but Redmi Note 12 4G as shown by his other video doesn't have NFC

4G version confirm no nfc, because the model number as in sirim database is 23021RAAEG (no nfc) code, and nfc model uses separate code 23021RAA2Y


5g versions (22111317G, 22101316UG) are safe to say will be NFC equipped. (China and Indian models omitted NFC however)

Just bought RN12 5G @ IOI City Mall. Confirmed got NFC
RN12PRO+ too

RN12 4G no NFC

Which more worth it?

For the price ot Rn12 5g, you're better off buying Poco X5 or X5 Pro.
And for the price of Rn12 Pro+, better off buying the Xiaomi 11T,since it is still available in Malaysia

As all RN12 series enter a Malaysia market already, doubt it will be F5 variants 🧐

F5 variants will be price higher (at least 1.6k+)
