Baygon cockroach control (green bottle got a very thin nozzle)
even though it says for cockroach control i use it for ants... you find where their trail is, then estimate where their nest is, then point the nozzle at their entry points and spray after that ant-free for few months (i say few months because i noticed they got season to come back inside my house but once you sprayed their 'nest' die again asap the next day)
but overall, my house is ant-free for majority of the time those ant bait like the pest-asia, or those powder everything need to be clean up, the gel type leaves stains on my walls which i don't like. in the end this baygon works best (small red ants, regular sized red ants, small black ants, regulard sized black ants all will hailat... but those ginormous sized black/red ants then i have no comment. i don't get that in my house)

Used to work great but recently this no longer effective towards those fast moving black ants and small tiny type. I don't know where to locate their trail so placing this kinda hard. It's like the ants just came out of nowhere.
Wiping surfaces with vinegar works temporarily. That's what I'm doing now.
I use these most of the time or other similar types...so far no issues. The trick is to place the powder at their "entrance" and force them to bite/move these powder if they want to enter/exit their base.
Works better if you put a drop of syrup on the ant bait, tgey will makan and die in their colony and their bodies eaten by other ants, cycle continues.

you can purposely create some sweet bait near where you regularly spot them and let them come then see where they come then follow their trail. big bait = big amount of ants, sure cant miss them after that
I tried that also and it didn’t work. I ended up making my own ant bait using borax and sugar as per instructions on YouTube. The ant problem went away after 2 days.
