So did anyone get a good screen protector to recommend?

I just bought a OP11 on Lazada and when it arrived, I found it was a china set running ColorOS.

I thought I could just follow the instructions online to flash the ROM to OxygenOS but now it's stuck in a bootloop!

Has anyone had experience doing the conversion before and can offer some help please?

I thot OP phones are supposed to be easy to change from China ROM to Global ROM? Nowadays not so straight forward izzit? Maybe becoz of region lock these China OEMs are practicing now. Could be what's causing the bootloop.

Why not just pay money ask people like fastech to help? But not sure he will help those that didn't buy from him or not.

Yup, not straight forward anymore. Seems OP is losing it's appeal and inching closer to the OPPO base...

Seems that China-region OP11's are getting notifications that their calls might not work since wrong region. Need to force ignore the notification.

Also, for the people who have managed to successfully load OxygenOS on their China OP11, there are issues like not being able to call, can't set screen lock code and auto brightness issues.

Very disappointed that OnePlus has made it so difficult as they were always modder friendly in the past.

I read in the forums that even after flashing to stock Global ROM, the China version would have issues like being unable to set the screen lock code, auto brightness wonkiness and possible call issues. Super weird especially when it's the same underlying hardware!

And yeah, not sure if they would help if i didn't get the phone from them...

Anyone using wise charging to charge phone overnight?
Since 3 weeks back I stop doing so cos the wise charging is not coming on even though I checked the settings it is turned on.
Anyone else having issues with wise charging?

Thanks for the suggestion. Looks like some paid service to unbrick. Thankfully I didn't brick the phone. It was just in a bootloop. I managed to reboot it into Fastboot and installed the China ROM back again and it managed to load up. Whew!

Might try this remote ROM update service. Asking them for their price to convert from China to Global ROM.

If paid, might as well get Fastech to do it.

Hi all, I plan to uy this phone from Lazada (store) they said the adapter come with it is us 2 pin adapter but it is a Malaysia set, ain't suppose my set is 3 pin? Can anyone confirm is this legit or not, thanks.

2 pin charging brick could be China 2 pin plug or UK 2 pin plug. Malaysia set could come with UK 2 pin plug.

Anyone know how to switch off the auto macro mode in camera? I switched it off then the next time i open the camera apps, it came back on. It is annoying when i want to snap something closer and it auto switch the macro cam for me 😞

I check in shopee, for 512Gb variant, magic5 pro is just RM300-400 more than OP11

My 8t suffers the pink line. I scared same thing will happen to OP11 later.
I wanted better camera system, so far I'm very much impressed with pics & video quality of HM5p, some more got top 3 dxomark ranking.

OS wise I think I prefer oneplus, Honor seems superficial & just ok, only better at pics & video editing software..

Honor got many service center & 1 at my place. So easy for me if anything. And honor got dedicated support app can chat customer service, check spare part prices within the app & they offer honor service day to customers monthly.
