Go for it if it is for your interest, but be careful if you can cope with it whilst working full-time. I actually read for a part-time PHD out of interest at Malaya University some years ago, but have to give up after a year as I was too busy at work to cope with the research required for it.For my case, CEng title does not really helps in my current field.
