The reason why Subaru ride feels better than average, is because of the low centre of gravity of the boxer engines.

HR-V high performance, smallest boot. Corolla Cross mediocre performance, biggest boot. Subaru XV is in between.

It is also the only AWD option. It should have no clear reason that makes it unpopular. I could only speculate that it is the design that didn't evolve much. I know some of you might like it as it brings nostalgia of those WRC days, but that group of buyers is very small. Honda are moving towards more contemporary muscular but minimalist design inspired by contis.

If only it came with a turbo charger

Seriously id get one if it does. I owned an Impreza v8 before and i loved every bit of it except for the fuel consumption but thats understand able

Almost switches to the forester turbo but deal did not happen so left it at that. Went to see the Xv but just got turnrd off with thr shit interior and no leather seat

If the Xv ever comes with a turbo charger i will be first to line up as i believe the engine and chasis from Subaru is best in class

The first generation was popular here

Second generation, not so much. Maybe because of delay to offer Eyesight model.

Subaru is the preferred choice of lesbians. For some reason lesbians like this brand.

XV owner here. Bought this XV preciselu bcoz of its handling capabilities. Previous car was a satria neo cps, its handling was top notch, hence upgrading to a bigger car with good handling end up with XV on the menu.

few reason
dated interior compared to competitor + hard plastic
boxer engine maintenance will slightly susah (eg: changing spark plug)

btw..this e boxer is 48V mild hybrid ..get the wallet ready for extra battery on top of 12v replacement

PS: i do have relative driving boxer

but the car itself is good..especially symmetrical awd ..can sapu suv like sedan
