Hi everyone, I would like to ask is there anyone get dry skin when take certain supplement and found out what the root cause of it or deficiency on mineral/vitamin that cause drier skin.
My body is quite sensitive & my skin is kinda dry in the first place and I drink enough of water daily (2.5-3 litres per day). However I start noticing my skin (mostly on my leg and hand) will get drier until the itchy state and my finger cuticle will start peeling when I took some of the supplement. It almost like dehydrate my skin and i noticed my face does not produce any oil which normally my face will be a bit of oily by the end of the day. My symptom will happen in 1-2 days when i take the supplement. This drier symptom stop and my cuticle back to normal once i have stopped the supplement. I noticed it happen when I took cod liver oil, krill oil, probiotics, magnesium malate (was not trying all at once, was taking it each alone).
I have test a few different brand on these supplement, end up getting the same result. By right these supplement suppose to help up dry skin but am getting the opposite result. I am very confused. If anyone experience the same thing, kindly share and appreciate for helping me up. Many thanks.

It happen for many years dy, i mean the dry symptom when i took the supplement. I kinda test few different brand of the same supplement (i.e cod liver oil) for 1-2 days then got the dry out symptom, then i stop and rest for few weeks, the dryness gone and test again. I just dunno what is wrong with me. The reason i took these supplement is my skin is dry or looks dehydrated maybe due to expose to air con long hours but those supplement make it worse.

Hi there, I not health xpert or doctor..but you should listen to your body...if taking those supps make your body/skin dry then stop taking it...maybe ur body like to take in more natural way?.... For example i used to drink green tea (without sugar or anything) alot..but as i get older..(almost 50's) everytime i drink green tea i get this swallow feet aka Edema..so i stop it...cheer mate
