If really need 5g for others countries without much hassle, just get something other than pixel. Pixel is only for those who really want to experience good software experience,

it won't improve much until the day of it was officially available in Malaysia. Again if in Singapore why don't make it available in the neighbor. It sure can sell here as observed by a large user base here.

I think if need to use 5g in Malaysia better get another brand .. seems china one even not official can still get 5g without any root or SW mod.
Google don't see MY as potential and why SG ? Since they have a very big office in SG and some dev are in SG like last time was the cloud div and YouTube.

Anyway teampixel usually are the one who like the experience of Android vanilla style and of course the awesome camera

Cheers

I joined the Pixel side.
Figured 5G won't mature for another few years so went ahead with Lemongrass Pixel 7.
Took almost 2 hours to transfer everything from my ROG3 phone to Pixel7 and getting it up and running.
Loving it so far.
Haptics good.
Wallpaper color matching template is very good, works well even with this live wallpaper.
Was charging it yesterday night and wondering why extra slow. It was because I turned on the adaptive charging. Turned it off and charge speed was faster.
Haven't had chance to test camera.

Checking in with Maxis/Hotlink users -

Does anyone noticed that they cannot use data despite VoLTE turned on by default for the Pixel 7 under Settings when simultaneously making a call?

Example: Using MS Teams on video call and taking an incoming call at the same time.

Not sure if you can do that at one shot .. when taking call u mean the normal call or data call?
Usually one will drop or pause and last time priority was for the normal call

Did you get Maxis to provision VoLTE for you? You have to specifically get them to do it for you because it's not enabled by default even though you've turned on the VoLTE option on your phone. To do a simple test if VoLTE is working for you, make a call and at the same time browse the internet, if LTE is still shown on the status bar, then VoLTE has been enabled for you.

I saw some comments on Facebook that Pixel 7’s 5Ghz wifi is shitty compare with other phone(eg: Oneplus 8T). Is it true?

Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone here has had experience using after-market USB-C DAC-headphone amp dongles with your Pixel 7? I
am referring to any decent audio dongles from iBasso, JCally, Hiby and Tempotec for wired audio listening as I am not much of
a BT wireless headphones fan. Thanks much!

Cheers,
V.

I can't comment much on these higher end dongles because I'm just using the cheap Ugreen ones without any issues so far.

Thanks, bro! The Ugreen one is a pretty good one too. How is the wired audio quality overall?

I'm not an audiophile but so far I've no complains about the wired audio quality as I'm using the SoundMagic E11 earphones, pretty solid.

I used the ones from veclan and it sounds good. Although i feel like the power output isnt at full power. Its more than enough for on the go usage. My theory is, as long as yr earbuds/headphones isnt too high impedance, it should be okay.
