anyway most of the people here is team pixel so no point to ask other brand of phone whistling.gif

I upgraded fr 2xl to 7pro recently. Superb. Everything so snappy and fast. It's quite a huge upgrade and well worth it!!! Won't consider Huawei for now until the ban is lifted...no choice

Recently saw articles reporting that the glass on the rear cameras of the Pixel 7 series are randomly shattering, anyone here has encountered that so far? Been eyeing to get one myself from Australia but worried how to go about warranty claim for this if it happens here

I’m about to get a Pixel 7. Just wondering about how everyone’s battery life has been. I’m coming from a Samsung S22+ and it’s been pretty good so far.

Been using mine a week after launch. No crack whatsoever. Even dropped the phone 3-4 times.

For curved screen, you don't have much choices for tempered glass
The whitedome type with UV glue is the best option available
For this UV glue type of SP, not necessary to spend a huge amount of $$ for whitedome brand
Chinese made ones can be used as well for a fraction of the cost of whitedome

Saw one recommendation that can be bought on taobao from hardwarezone forum
https://detail.tmall.com/item_o.htm?_u=s2gk...680323:25890744

I personally saw a cheaper version here - https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a1z09...._u=s2gkng3cfc53
Both are UV cured glue

On reddit, there's this chinese brand on Amazon called IMBZBK which is quite popular as well
Wouldn't be suprised if it's from the same factory as the above taobao links

If not you'll have to settle with film type protector

Yep, tempered glass and needs UV light for the glue to cure
Works exactly the same like whitedome

Anyone switched to pixel 7 pro, from 6 pro? I would like to know how the cellular receptions perform and heat issue , as 6 pro is quite disappointing and require airplane mode toggle to fix it, thanks.

I used 6 pro before, yes the heat management is so much better on 7 pro. My 6 pro did have problem with cellular when im underground at certain big building in the middle of big city. So i cant use internet during said time. But 7 pro dont have that problem, the internet works even though its slow.
In summary i would upgrade from 6 pro to 7 pro, its quite worth it, especially now that google has nice discounts on the 7 series for a while now.
