Pixel 7 user with maxis as the telco. Do you guys have problem with the signal for the phone?

I seem to have the problem with the connectivity for the last 1 2 months.

1. Can't connect to 5G, now I can only resort to connect using 4G. I have no problem with using 5g previously

2. Sending trouble sending out my WhatsApp messages. After I pressed send, I will have to wait until the 1st tick appears before I close the app. Else, it won't be sent until I opened the app again.

3. Unable to approve my banking transactions. There will be notification out, but when I open the notification, the approval command will not come out. Happens to a few banking apps.

Tried updating the system and all the apps. But the same problem persist

Hi all, just bought a used Pixel 7 from Miles 5 as a replacement phone for my wife, but after installing the Android 15 upgrade, the security patch is stuck at March 2025, and when checking for updates, it only keeps on saying "Checking for updates" and the check update animation keeps on going in circles but nothing happens. Any idea what is causing this and how to fix it? I've read online that Gemini suggested to run the update in Safe Mode, but I was unable to get to Safe Mode too. Any assistance is appreciated.

try reset everything to factory setting & install the update again?

If you have a pc/laptop, u should flash it manually. Its straight forward.

Was thinking of this, but since it's my wife's phone, she doesn't want to go thru the hassle of setting up everything again.

From memory that doesnt indicate beta. But i think you should go to flash.android.com and follow the instructions there. From there u can choose to use latest stable or beta(if u want).

Has anyone updated to the latest stable Android 16? Are all the financial apps like Maybank and TNG working fine?

My Wife's phone is P7. She got the notif for the update as well, but she'll wait for me to come back home from work first to run it. So P7 series can get updates all the way until A17?
