jon, what serial numbers should we be looking for? a friend is going to be purchasing my iphone this weekend, what serial number range should have the 1.0.1 or 1.0.2 firmware, or what serial numbers should i avoid?

Anyway, i have got a friend going to California in a couple of weeks time so i thought of bringing in the iPhone as well. Does anyone know how the tax surcharge works, eh?

I have tested out the iPhone at Ikano and what I must say is it is just excellent but the price at that shop is killing, they are selling it at RM3,200.

By the way guys, I did my share of googling on a particular problem I have now, can't find the answer. How do I add custom wallpapers and pictures without going through the iTunes Sync process just to have the image file added into the camera roll? Meaning, where is the exact directory location where photos are stored? I've tried under "/var/root/Media/DCIM/100APPLE/", but still the photos I upload here at 320 x 480 don't show up right in the camera roll.

Can anyone help or advise a different approach? Wanna add some new wallpapers too, including Nemo

only "virgin" Fw1.1.1

or locked  FW.1.0.2 upgrade to FW1.1.1 locked

then only UNLOCK works !

i'm not sure whether to get the iphone now or wait until it is available to maxis!

what do you guys think? Is it worth to switch to Digi just because of the iphone?

those of you switching to digi, could you do us maxis users still a couple of favour? like call them up and tell them you're cancelling because of maxis's unwillingness to speed things up to fix the iphone compatibility?

hey...anyone of u guys heard about the latest iPhone problem...it's said that the iPhone is harmful to human because it contains some toxin material during production in china...it seems like this case is quite similar to the mattel barbie doll in china...sigh...i saw the news from the star newspaper that greenpeace society is planning to sue apple if apple is not doing something about this by next week...it's said that the effect of this toxin material will harm the fertility of men sperms...im not sure how true is this because it was said that the effect will occur when the user is using the call function of the phone...the heat eventually will cause the toxin to have the harmful effect on human...not just in the star newspaper...it was also reported in local chinese newspaper china press...sigh...i wonder the users here will be able to sue apple for damages and also provide us a brand new iPhone which is environmental friendly...i'm not trying to criticise iPhone as i myself is also an iPhone user and also an iPhone maniac...i totally love this phone very much...but this news reports really saddens me...
