My 1.1.1 is not really stable after the update...it freezes when I use Apollo...when I use the dictionary function the app freezes a moment and then return to the slide to unlock screen...sigh...

QUOTE(Flight123 @ Oct 26 2007, 10:58 AM) Hi all, I have been following this topic for quite some time so i dont think my question has been addressed before; in any case, I apologise if it has been cos this topic is so darn long already (not like i'm complaining) I am another disgruntled maxis user who has recently subscribed to Digi and will plan to migrate all my contacts and CLOSE down my maxis line if they dont do anything about it soon. Here are my 2 rather juvenile questions: 1. I keep all my contacts' phone nos. like the following +6012XXXXXXX. The reason I do this is cos when i'm overseas, it will allow me to call the respective phone nos. However, I realised that when i do this, the caller id doesnt show up cos the incoming call is registered as (012) XXX XXXX. Does anyone have a solution to this? Funny thing enuf is that the sms function does not have the same issue. 2. This is related to above and refers to land lines also. Cos most of our land lines are 8 digits and putting 603 XXXX XXXX will have pblms with caller ids as well Thx QUOTE(wei @ Oct 26 2007, 11:07 AM) Hey Wei...I can't see the solution...where is it? I'm kinda blind... Added on October 26, 2007, 1:16 pmgot it already saw it... This post has been edited by antnine: Oct 26 2007, 01:16 PM |

QUOTE(tishaban @ Oct 26 2007, 02:48 PM) antnine, there are people here who use their Maxis numbers in their business and it's not so easy to give up a number and possible future business simply because of an iPhone. It's money dude, I'm willing to give up the iPhone or carry an extra phone. But I'm not willing to give up future income since business is important to u and if u cant give up iPhone...get 2 phones then...y keep on complaining on maxis???The question now is whether Maxis will fix the problem first or we'll get Mobile Number Portability implemented first Added on October 27, 2007, 9:40 am QUOTE(megatron007 @ Oct 26 2007, 04:20 PM) after upgrading to 1.1.1 my phone keeps on bounce back to the spring board when im using ipod or safari and hangs when i use apollo...frustrates me alot...think twice before upgrading...This post has been edited by antnine: Oct 27 2007, 09:40 AM |

QUOTE(tishaban @ Oct 27 2007, 11:19 AM) I complain about Maxis because even after more than half a decade and thousands of RM poured into them from myself alone, not to mention the others here, they won't even fix the problem (at this point). That to me is bad customer service. provided if u manage to get your msg across to the right person...The best way for me to show my displeasure is to leave Maxis and let some other telco get my hard earned money, but that means I myself might lose business. So since MNP is not here yet, the next best way for me to show how unhappy I am with their lack of service. I pay money and expect to get service and support. My advice to you is to not let the companies screw you. You need to show your dissatisfaction, and today that could be as simple as sending a well written, strongly worded email to the right people. |

QUOTE(heng623 @ Oct 27 2007, 09:56 PM) can, actually. but a very stupid and troublesome way. Really very mafan wor...use itune sycnc the song u want. then use sengsong (which u can download from installer), then open sendsong, select the song u wnat to be, and send it to ringtone. thats it. then from setting - ringtone there, u can select the ringtone u just sync already. but hor, as long as once do syncronization, the setting will be reset (set to default). so, u need to do it again. |

QUOTE(bledig @ Oct 29 2007, 06:14 PM) *** Maxis Users *** government help? does it really help? work progress and process in government offices has been famously known "super fast"Guys, would it help if we make a complaint to Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission at http://www.mcmc.gov.my/consumer/complaint.asp ? i hear its pretty effective. shall we do multiple lodging to make our case more prominent? Added on October 29, 2007, 7:03 pm QUOTE(trixx316 @ Oct 29 2007, 06:59 PM) u can try it first...no harm in doing that...another easier way for sony players with the AUX function...u can get the cable at RM 20 in ICE shops and plug it into the headphone jack and to your car player...that should work too...This post has been edited by antnine: Oct 29 2007, 07:03 PM |

QUOTE(wei @ Nov 2 2007, 10:58 PM) What problem do you want to hear? iPhone the most durable phone?lolz...I drop mine few time. It still works like charm. Longest owner I known are not in this forum, that dude paid USD599 for the 8GB. Activated with AT&T over iTunes in US and terminated the plan before sending to KL. And then he bought TurboSIM to use with local SIM. Long before we know what is Jailbreaking. And yet, his iPhone is still kicking, anything you want me to ask? |
