If I’m not mistaken, we have to unpair our Apple Watch first from the old iPhone before pairing it to our new iPhone. If we don’t unpair first, the old iPhone still links to the Watch and we may not be able to pair another different Watch later on to the old iPhone.

Does anyone have any idea about Apple Pay? I’m using HSBC card as the Apple Pay merchant. Should I unlink the app from old iPhone before setting it up again on new iPhone?

Yeah, I agree. This really makes me wonder what’s the whole point of pre-ordering when those who don’t preorder get the phones earlier by just walking in (with some good luck especially dealing with high demand models).

In my case, I took my chances and walked into Switch Alpha Angle after work and bought the Plus on the spot. Still got the RM150 phone discount plus a RM100 voucher (must use immediately) and another RM50 conditional voucher for future use.

Sorry, don’t mean to rub salt or flex here. I just think those shops or telcos offering preorders needs to do it better next time.

I’m most tempted to get a MagSafe battery pack as well. So, instead of charging the phone regularly, I’ll just charge the MagSafe and let it juice up the phone throughout the day. That can keep the USB-C port on the phone clean and unsullied. 😉

I noticed my torch on Apple Watch is even brighter than on my Plus. Go figure. 😁

No problem with mine. Just tested it on my breakfast right in front of me using the WhatsApp app. Can focus pretty sharp and the camera could even focus on background while blurring foreground. Mine’s a 15 Plus.
