Just avoid insta and games first until the update then. Or put it battery saver mode for now.

It’s warm due to also charging it I guess. I wouldn’t recommend wired CarPlay, can’t be good for the battery as well. Another car got wireless CarPlay I don’t find it hot running Waze all the time.

just finish migrated to iphone 15 pro max last night and been using it for few hours, so far so good, didnt notice any overheat issue.

however, the sound of the speaker has been bothering me... why my iphone 15 pro max sound so differently than my 14pm & 13pm?? i dont really like it, feel weird but i dont know how to describe it here...

initially the delivery is 4oct but later on change to later date 12oct - 19oct 

but u can only shoot ProRes 4k 60fps video DIRECTLY to external storage and it takes up a lot a lot of space so even 1TB external storage cannot take so long video and normal ppl likely will not do it too.

with usb-c, u do able to do manual copy of content from iphone 15 pro series to external storage to save space.
but at one time, how long the video (other than the above method)/how many photos u can take still depends on the original storage capacity of ur iphone. 256gb is not the nett storage one (due to the conversion between bits and byte) and u still need to consider the space of the operating system (iOS) and apps/games that u have concurrently in ur phone.

ultimately, it depends if u are light or heavy users and how much things and how long u want to keep them in ur iphone at one time before u do the clean up as well.
for light user, 256gb should be fine, but 512gb or even 1tb may still make sense for certain targetted group of users.

I am not very sporty person, the higher brightness is unnecessary for me.
