Yeah using lightning cable is a hassle to use not Becos of the connector. The connector is actually easily to use in terms of plugging in and out. But the lightning cables are too fragile that spoiled too easily. Or after a while, the cable just simply does not charge and need to plug in and out multiple times to work. Very irritating.

Just wonder if there is such as that can convert usb-c to lightning that allows usb-c cable to be used to charge iPhone with lightning port. (Not referring to usb-c to lightning cable but I am referring to converter that allows any two heads usb-c cable to charge iPhone with lightning port).

Hmm. Since you also just planning to get 256GB. I think may consider getting 256GB rather than 512GB.
At the moment, I have 2TB iCloud shared with family. I almost forgotten about ProRaw and ProRes avaialble on Pro models until you mention it. I don't think I will be using much of it unless I have to take RAW images to edit at home.

In my experience pre-order with Switch. Usually, they will allocate specific units for Shopee/Lazada, website and walk in pre-order on pre-order day. 

On the website, once the batch is sold out they will put a remark as no longer be able to collect/being delivered on the launching date. However, I managed to secure one unit at Shopee and receive on the launching date.
