Guys, need ur help. i change my iphone every year and now using 14pm. Now, kinda no excitement with new ip15pm new features. The obvious changes are usb c, action button and processor. Other then that, everything same like previous model. Do u think i should change or skip?

Just wanted to weigh in on this SenQ/Senheng extended warranty. Long ago, when dinosaurs still roamed the earth, I bought myself a HTC Diamond from them (that shows my age). It went dead after 15 months and I brought it back to them to claim the extended warranty and I was told that after the manufacturer’s warranty has expired, their in-house techies will take a look at them. I’m guessing back then their techies are more well-versed in electrical appliances, coz I didn’t get my phone back till more than 2 months later. Since then, I’ve always seen their extended warranty as more gimmicky than anything. Still, it’s a nice to have if you’re a member or just paying RM12 to be a member is worth it.
Actually the MagSafe ring in itself is a branding, haha.. I’ve seen cases for other phones with no MagSafe having that ring these days… so weird! Anyways, I will only get a MagSafe case now coz even though I don’t use wireless charging as much, I love how it mounts in the car securely and MagSafe car mounts are really sleek and less cumbersome than the traditional phone holders!

Why do you need to buy an extra cable? It will be given in the box. I’m using third party ugreen version as it’s longer.

I doubt so. I did not see any one will buy extra apple brand cable Becos they are known to be not lasting. Even they really buy it last time for lightning cable maybe purely for mifi purpose but again third party cable also can be mfi certified.

At least usb-c apple did not put in any form of limitation such as mifi so one can use any cable.

Third party Usb-c cable with 3.0 is cheap and since apple did not provide usb 3.0 c cable in the box. One will just go for third party, no point to buy apple branded one.

In fact, with usb-c port, one can just use iPad or MacBook or even their office laptop charger to charge with the existing cables.
