Quick start will be the easiest because it works like Airdrop and iCloud is not far behind in terms of convenient. But if your data is very large (>100GB) iTunes (PC/ Mac + cable) is the fastest way.

IMO It’s causing a lot of anxiety to many people, including myself…when I use my samsung I have no fear of battery health issue, and sort of enjoy using it more, charging it however I want without fear or worries. The cycle count is something unwanted, on top of the already unwanted battery health %…oh wells..

if you get a USB 3.1 rated A-to-C cable, you should still be able to get the 20x faster data transfer rate (10Gbps) on 15 Pro/Max models. but if it doesn't say specifically USB 3.1 (or above) or you're not using Pro/Max models, you'll be stuck on USB 2.0 data transfer rate (0.5Gbps) which is same speed as Lightning

also need to keep in mind that any A-to-C cable will have limitation in terms of charging speed (only 5W). iPhones only do fast charge (up to 30W) using C-to-C cable

if you want best of both worlds, get a USB3.2 rated C-to-C cable like this one from Orico

The limitation of C-to-A is data transfer speed. Normally USB C-to-A are USB 2.0 (480Mbps) or 3.0 (5Gbps) so all usb cable should be capable of transfer data/sync.

You can find C-to-C USB 3.1 (10Gbps) or higher like USB 4, thunderbolt3/4... the usb port you are plugging in also a factor too.

If you have a usb A-to-C cable, it is probably 15W, meaning it will charge at whatever speed your power input is up to 15W but it can't deliver more power than that.

I did some research on this:

just like A-to-Lightning before, A-to-C is limited to 7.5W. This is because Apple implemented the USB Battery Charging (BC) 1.2 spec, which is limited to 7.5W.

Then from iPhone X onwards, Apple started to also implement the USB Power Delivery (PD) 3.0 spec. even though the PD 3.0 spec supports higher (up to 100W), Apple has set the max charge rate at 27W

can no issue...but i prefer 10w charger..it generate equally no heat..

Hi everyone, over the past day or two, I've been having issues with my iPhone 15 Pro; apps are constantly crashing. I've attempted to restart the phone, but it takes an unusually long time to reboot. I have to connect it to a charger and wait for it to power on by itself. Additionally, my photo app seems to be continuously restoring from iCloud. Is anyone else encountering this problem? I've made sure my iOS is up to date, and my battery health is still at 100%.

Last night, my photo app started crashing unexpectedly when I opened it. For a while, it displayed no pictures at all, and then later, it began showing that it was restoring photos from iCloud with some of the recent pictures. Also, my phone wasn't overheating at that time.

I've been using it smoothly since last October, but in the past day or two, this problem has emerged. Although my phone's settings indicate it's running the latest iOS version, when I connected it to iTunes for a backup earlier, iTunes displayed a message saying a new iOS update was available, which is supposedly the same version my phone already has. 

Hmm? Can be updated using OTA. I never use any PC updates, both my 15PM and 12PM are on 17.4.1.

sad to hear this, no power source detected and they need 7-14days to repair?
