I've went snooping around Apple's website and saw that certain Apple products (iPhone and Airpods, I did not check the others) you buy now (like right now), the dates are all due on the 29th.

I don't really mind to wait another 1-2 weeks but then I did not expect this from Apple Store (direct purchase). I thought we will be given first priority but I guess, AARs are given higher priority.

I just want to see my status change from being able to cancel to not able to cancel and "preparing to ship".

Weird. My Apple Store PO since "day 1" has been
"We have everything necessary to complete your order. We’ll update your delivery date when your order is preparing to ship.".

Wonder why is urs different, or did u rephrase it?

Do you have the cancel button available? It seems like this means that the order has been "accepted" and ready to ship.

I guess there's a unit assigned to ur order already internally. Seems like 5th Oct (next week) is already getting ready. If so, it means that mine will be change status earliest also by early-mid next week. Congrats to you.
