I think this question not much people can answering u as 5g currently only offered by unifi mobile, ytl and umobile as per my understanding.

As for x30 pro global variant, edge 30 ultra it is not officially available in Malaysia, the only way to get it is buy import set from china where it is not 5g certified.

Even if it does not support 5g in future by your telco, nothing much can be done. Buy it at your own risk, the pros and cons are as follow:

Pros:
good hardware spec at affordable price
Near stock Android

Cons:
No official Malaysia set, touchwood anything happen u have to send back to seller and wait for them to post to China and return (probably will take two to four weeks for whole process). The whole experience is very dependant on seller

5g uncertainty. Is not in the 5g list as it is not officially available in Malaysia. It's lucky if it's supported by your carrier

A lot of issues shared by international lenovo Motorola forum such as poor post photo processing, painting peel off at the camera, auto focus issue, dust particle in the telephoto lens area, call volume issue etc etc as what I can recall but this is for the global variant edge 30 ultra.

X30 pro china forum reported poor post photo processing problem but someone above shared about an update so not sure whether the issues still persist or not.

Lastly lenovo Motorola launch new device very fast and now got info leak out for edge 40 already as per gsmarena. Some user in global and China forum do feedback lenovo not really handle persisting issues and keep on launching new device regardless.

I am interested to get 1 initially but unfortunately it's not officially available in Malaysia and a lot of bad user feedback, that's y I don't plan to get 1 myself. U can go ahead if those cons doesn't really matter to u. In this sub threat itself I think less than 10 ppl owning the device.
